Announcement   I hand make stoneware pottery for your home that feature hand illustrated animals and birds with lots of fun colors and polka dot and maybe some stripes or clouds...who knows! I make all my pieces as one of a kind creation and no two are ever exactly the same. I do all the throwing, trimming, glazing, firing in my home studio and love my work more every day.
I attended Kansas State University majoring in biology with a minor in art and while attending university, I met my husband who was serving in the U.S. Army. As many of us do, I went on to have a wonderful family, but did not let that stop me from pursing my goals, and am now a mother of two and wife to a great husband I am proud to say we are going to be celebrating 15 years soon too! I work to balance function and form, as well as design while using new techniques so that I can bring my ever obsessive drawing from paper onto the pots. I have spent my life finding a delicate balance between the art I love to create, and the people I love just as much and I am not going to stop anytime soon.
I Throw all pieces in my home studio using a local stoneware clay. All of my glazes and stains are 100% food safe and lead free, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. I love texture, color and variety in my work and am always trying new things and modifying old. I hope you love my work because I sure love making it all. :)

***International shipping is available. Please message me to figure out an estimated cost of shipping and proper adjustment of pricing. Thank you!!!***

About

Handmade whimsical illustrated pottery

I operate my home studio while raising three kids, three dogs and several birds with a ton of help from my husband. All the pieces are thrown on my old wheel and after bisque firing they are individually hand illustrated with animals, polka dots and cherry trees. I makes all my glazes, fix the kilns and clean the house some days...lol. I stay busy and happy with dirt in my hair.
