Bloom & Tendril collectables and gifts - potholders, dolls, and patches - fun and funky

Bloom & Tendril, (formerly mukibubb,) is the small textile design business I started here on Etsy in 2006.

My doll-making hobby was outgrowing my studio, so I began offering them for sale along with other textile experiments. It wasn't long before I discovered my signature style of sketchy applique and bright, nature-inspired colors.

Dolls were followed by patches, potholders and art quilts, a collection of offerings I add to constantly. I'm sewing like mad to bring new items here weekly.

I can't keep my hands off of fabrics. Quilting cottons are my favorites. I hope I present this shop to you in a way that makes you FEEL the layers of fabric, the raw edges, and lines of thread. That's where my heart is and where I'd love to bring you.

Bloom & Tendril is NorCal grown, from the Sacramento Valley to the Placer County Foothills, from San Francisco to The Sonoma County wine country where the studio is today. The designs I bring you are dreamt of on foggy mornings, illuminated by afternoon sunshine, sung into being by quail and dove, and kissed by vineyard breezes.

One Percent to End Breast Cancer
1% of all my profits go to the AVON39 Walk to End Breast Cancer.
It is my honor and privilege to walk 39 San Francisco miles each year and to raise funds that support organizations that are on the cutting edge of research, that supply breast cancer screening, care, as well as food and comfort and aid to patients and families.
The 2017 walk was a great success, and I plan to surpass it in 2018!

I love designing and creating these dolls, patches, and potholders. Life is an endless inspiration board of colorful fun to share. Flags at the park, avocados on my counter, or funny birds in the yard are all part of Bloom & Tendril. Welcome!

Please contact me by store conversation if you encounter any trouble with the payment process. This is so I can help complete the transaction and get your items on their way to you. All orders ship once payment clears. I use USPS and reserve the privilege to choose first class or priority, whichever makes the most efficient and expedient use of your shipping dollars. Whenever possible (most of the time) I lovingly ship your items in packaged made from recycled brown bags.
Please remember that overseas shipping from the US can take longer than one might logically suspect.
