Announcement   I am currently closed for yarn/fiber, but please check out my patterns! Join me at my Ravelry group (http://www.ravelry.com/groups/mulberry-fibers) for special events, sales, finished objects, and chatting and find me there if you have any questions about my patterns.

I try to be as eco-friendly as possible, reusing dye water when I can, using minimal packaging, and recycling garments into lovely yarn when they no longer serve their original purpose.

If you want any of your yarn purchases wound differently than shown (into a center pull ball or a skein/hank,) please let me know at checkout or by convo. Otherwise your purchase will come in a twisted skein.

I do have another etsy shop, selling reusable products. Check it out: http://weeessentials.etsy.com

I thought it looked easy to make but haven't gotten to pattern yet. I make hats for the needy, God has given me a talent to knit and I enjoy it and want to share. Thank you.

Wasn't sure about this colorway but it's really interesting, even better in person and I'm so eager to see the outcome. I love it!

Welcome! I love to create! And because I'm a practical person, I love to create beautiful and useful objects! (It helps that I have three children, all of whom need to be clothed and entertained. :) )

This isn't my first venture into the world of ecommerce, but there really isn't anything as satisfying to me as sitting down with a pair of knitting needles to create a warm hat for my eldest or harvesting food and herbs from my garden to grace my table!

Yes, I'm old-fashioned, but I like it that way!

**I feel it's important to note that we are a smoke-free but cat-friendly home. The two cats are not allowed near my sewing area, but they are sneaky, so I can't say they've never been in there!**

ALSO - yes, this has been cut and pasted, for the most part, from my other shop, WeeEssentials. I'm lazy when it comes to profiles, and I'd just repeat myself anyway. LOL

****Check out my Ravelry.com group at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/mulberry-fibers n for sale and event information, chatting, and finished objects made from my yarn and fiber!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards

Payment
I prefer payment within three (3) days of purchase. I gladly accept Paypal (all types of payment,) US Postal money orders and personal checks.

If you do send a personal check, or you choose to pay with an e-check through Paypal, please be aware that these forms of payment may take up to 10 business days to clear, although in my experience it's generally less. I'll ship after payment clears.

I do refund overpayment on shipping when it is more than $1 over the cost of postage.
Shipping
I don't include invoices in your shipment. I do that to reduce packaging waste. But if you'd like an invoice, just let me know - I'd be glad to oblige! :)

After shipping, if I find you've paid more than a dollar over shipping cost, I will refund the difference! If you are buying several items, please convo me for the correct shipping cost in advance.

I ship USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation when packages are light enough (under 13 ounces.) Everything else will go Priority Mail within the United States. If you need something right away, please email me about Express Shipping, which takes 1 to 2 business days, and if I can accommodate that, I will!

International packages will be shipped using the most economical method unless you would prefer otherwise.

If you are an international customer, you will be responsible for any customs fees incurred in the shipment of your order into your country.
Refunds and Exchanges
These are handmade goods, so each piece may vary slightly or have small imperfections. But please let me know if you are not satisfied with something from me, and I'll do my best to make you happy. How far that is will depend on each individual situation, but it's in my best interest to not make your life miserable! :
Additional policies and FAQs
Tennessee residents will also pay 9.25% sales tax, when you check out through Paypal.

I do my best with each object, and my goal is to describe each item accurately in my listings. Since my items are handmade, you may find small flaws in the piece (which hopefully I mentioned in the listing.) I personally believe that the minor flaws add to the character and value of a homemade piece, when they don't affect appearance much or function.

I will be happy to consider special requests! My ability to create what you want may be limited by the materials I can obtain. Also remember that because the items are handmade (and I have two young boys and a baby daughter) that special orders may take some time. I can give you a better estimate of that time when you contact me.
