Announcement   Mumble Tease is a one-lady apparel company featuring silly smiling-inducing designs. All creations feature original artwork that is silk-screened by hand in my sweet basement workshop!

What started out as a somewhat selfish desire to see my sketchbook doodles printed on shirts, has grown into a full-blown apparel company. I love choosing which doodles will be printed next, and then seeing them go from the page to the garment.

Please carefully check which sizes are available, because I do pretty small print runs and often run out of sizes! The small numbers keep the shirts very unique, so know that there aren't too many of them out there!

++++ALSO, TANKS AND V-NECKS ARE LISTED IN UNISEX SIZES!++++

So make sure you read the sizing and availability info closely to help make sure that you get a shirt that'll fit nicely!

Thanks for visiting!

About

Brightening people's days one shirt at a time!

Mumble Tease came from rather selfish beginnings.

I had just graduated from art school, and was trying to become a freelance illustrator, which takes time and requires lots of promotion, and things were going slowly. I decided to take a weekend continuing education course to learn how to silk-screen so I could make myself some shirts with my own silly doodles on them. I fell in love with the process of silk-screening on fabric and made myself my own screens and set up a very basic studio in my parents' basement.

I don't think I had any idea at the beginning that it would turn into my full-time career and passion, but that's sure what's happened!

I got so many compliments every time I wore one of my shirts, I thought, "Hey! Maybe other people would like these too!" and started selling a few at a local indie arts market. I got such positive feedback and loved seeing the smiles on peoples' faces when they read a shirt, that I just kept making them and picking new doodles to print and finding more markets within, and then outside of my hometown of Calgary!

I still print all the shirts by myself, by hand in the same studio in my parents' basement. And I still do all the artwork myself, flipping through my many sketchbooks and choosing which slices of my whimsical world I want to print next. And I still use the same, old school method of getting the design on the screen that I've always used, cut stencils. It's a bit crazy, but I actually cut each design out of a plastic sheet with an x-acto knife and then tape that to my screens! And I still go to all the markets, and take all the photos (I even do the modelling!) and address all the envelopes and hand deliver them to the post office. It's a lot of work, but man is it fun!

The world seems to be such a serious place, and I feel like my shirts are helping to lighten it up a little. I'm so glad I can share a little bit of my unique view and personality with others and make our world a sillier, more colourful, and maybe even happier place.

Thanks for having a look!

Mumble Tease shirts feature quirky illustrations that are hand-cut into stencils, and then silk-screened on colorful American Apparel shirts, all done by Calgary-based illustrator Heather Reinhardt.

Some of the shirts are so unique that they are only available in the one size and colour! Wow!

Shipping
The shirts will be mailed out 1-3 days after purchase, using Canada Post and will arrive in a white plastic envelope that will keep your shirt or sweater safe and dry!

For orders outside of Canada, I use a standard airmail option that does not provide tracking. Canada Post estimates 4-6 business days to the US, but sometimes it can take 2 weeks or longer to arrive, depending upon whether it gets held up in customs.

International orders are estimated at 6-10 business days, but again, customs delays can make that even longer.

If you need a faster shipping service, or a shirt to arrive by a certain date, let me know, and I can arrange for additional shipping charges.
Refunds and Exchanges
Shirts that are not the right size or do not fit will be refunded or exchanged within 30 days of being received, depending upon availability. Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds are not offered for shipping errors that are beyond my control.
