About

MUSÉE16 : A Diorama of an Art Exhibition ..

Musée16 : Floating off the coast of California ..
A small gallery and museum down by the sea .

The first exhibition space began in an empty pharmacy shop in the pacific northwest with a ‘Diorama of an Art Exhibition’ as the first of many themed showings featuring artists from national and international locales. It then traveled south to California in a 1949 vintage airplane aluminum trailer… Exhibits and openings were held in local parks, at rest stops and parked by the ocean. The Musée then found a place in an old upstairs shoe repair shop in the historic Santora Building in Santa Ana...
The gallery then installed an exhibition space in an old fish factory down by the train tracks on the outskirts of Los Angeles.
Currently.. The Musée is residing in a cabin, under the pepper tree.

Here are a few things about the No. Sixteen -

The amount of waking hours in a day in an “8 hours of sleep” schedule. 16 mm film was originally an amateur movie format, but is now used by professionals. There are sixteen pawns in a chess set and each player in a chess game starts with sixteen pieces. A sixteen is a slang term for a verse in a song, which are often written in sixteen-bar stanzas. There are sixteen different personality types in the Myers-Briggs classification system.
