About MyBuddyBling
-
Wile E Coyote -- a great model and good at testing jewelry and hats for sturdiness.
-
Princess Ginger -- our top model and inspiration.
-
My husband texting and riding Ginger. He feeds the models and runs to the post office.
-
Some of the models after a hard day eating carrots and misbehaving for the camera.
-
Our newest member Mustang Grace. She is a force of nature and a genius.
My Buddy Bling started as an excuse to spend time with our horses doing "field testing."
My Buddy Bling LLC, started in the summer of 2012. Our blond, blue-eyed mare, who thinks she is a princess, wanted more adornment than just glitter hoof polish, so I tried to find her some jewelry. When searches pulled up almost nothing, I decided to make her jewelry and one thing led to another. I started a new enterprise -- making jewelry, accessories and costumes for horses. Most are OOAK (hand-made One-Of-A-Kind) and extremely time-consuming -- and fun -- to make.
Our horses and our friends' horses are my models and field testers. The accessories and costumes are field tested to be sturdy, but they are NOT tack and should be taken off the horse immediately after riding, and never left on an unattended horse. Unattended horses have a way of rubbing, tasting, and scraping off their jewelry and outfits.
As time permits, I include some of my polymer clay and needle felted creatures and all sorts of other gifts for horses and riders. I am a member of the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild and Teddy Bears Artists and Friends. I am a one-woman shop.

Owner
I am an animal rights advocate and actively try to help animals. As such, I am vegetarian, volunteer at the local horse rescue, and try not to sell anything in my shop that caused an animal to die - no real leather or real fur sold here.

Buddy
Macho Model
Buddy is the shop's namesake, and is a good, ol' boy. He's a Tennessee Walker whose major interests are eating and hanging out with people.
-
Ginger
Top Model
Ginger is the inspiration for the shop, and is my top model. She is a blond, blue-eyed princess and boss of the pasture. She's a Missouri Fox Trotter who looks good in anything she wears.
-
Wile E Coyote
Field Tester
Wile E Coyote is our field tester. If he says an item is sturdy and comfortable, then I list it. He is a Tennessee Walker, full of mischief and loves to make us laugh.
-
Mustang Grace
Model In Training
Grace is a Mustang who was a lead mare in her wild herd. She is a mixture of sweetness and nitroglycerin and much smarter than me.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find what I need? How do I order the right size?
Shop for your equine in one of two ways! Either browse my shop OR contact me and I can send you the links to what you are looking for. I have a FULL shop and know that it can sometimes be hard to find what you need.
Not sure what sizes to order? Contact me with your questions and I will be happy to explain how to measure your steed.
I enjoy making EXACTLY the right accessories and costumes for your equine needs and after a consultation and quote, can create a custom listing for your horse, mini, pony, draft or long ears.
I am an international customer. What shipping services do you use, and what about duty?
Orders are shipped USPS. All customs duty fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. I do not mark international orders as "gift", or with any value other than the amount you pay; I could face heavy fines and/or lose my business license.
YOU are responsible for all TAXES and DUTY owed. Please check with YOUR countries laws about restrictions and thresholds. You may want to consider keeping your order values low. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs or the post office.
The tracking says my order was delivered by I don’t have it. Help?
It doesn't happen often but packages are sometimes mis-delivered. We recommend that you check the following:
-members of your household
-neighbors
-postal carrier
-local post master
-if you are international customer, check it isn’t sitting in customs waiting for duty to be paid.
If you are not successful in recovering your package, please contact me and I will work with you to find it.
Has my order shipped yet?
Because of the nearly endless options, most handmade items are MADE TO ORDER and may take a few days to make; 1- 5 days are typical. Please allow more time for large or custom orders. However, if you are having a "upcoming event emergency", let me know as I always set aside a little time each day just in case. If your order is TIME SENSITIVE, please let me know in the notes to seller box at checkout, or send me a convo, and I will work to meet it. Shipping upgrades are available. When you order is complete, I will send you an email with shipping details including the domestic tracking number/international customs number.
Custom and personalized orders
Custom and Personalized orders are not refundable unless I made an error and sent you the wrong item. Thank you.
Care instructions for items with feathers!
If feathers have a "wave" from shipping them, simply brush the feather barbs out with a soft bristle tooth brush *sweet the fibers* - you can also hold the feathers over hot steam to make them straight again. Craft feathers and hair feathers are more durable than one thinks.
DO NOT leave feathered items out in your barn or tack room. Every bug and varmint in the world loves to eat feathers and they will do so overnight. I know!
