My Hideaway

Every day I wake up with one goal: to make something beautiful and hopefully, put a smile on someone's face. Ok, sometimes my goals also include "deal with the laundry pile" or "conquer my inbox," but mostly, it's to bring more joy into the world through color and texture, whimsy and playfulness.

I spend lots of time in my tiny studio surrounded by little creatures, piles of felt and thread, and sketches for designs yet to be made.

Everything you see in my shop is handmade by me, and each piece is original. I strive to make special things you won't find anywhere else, and I love to make one-of-a-kind items.

I studied fine art in college and went on to get a Master's degree in Interior Design, but I eventually discovered that I am happiest when making something with my own two hands. I love to experiment with materials, to play with paint and felt and see where it leads me.

I try not to put labels on what I am or what I do, as it's an ever-evolving occupation. I do know that I will always be creating, and I'm happy sharing my work here on Etsy!

Returns and exchanges
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me by email. Returns must be made within seven (7) days of receipt. After seven days, all sales are considered final.

All refunds will be issued for the price of the goods only; initial postage costs are non-refundable.

I accept payment via Paypal and Etsy Direct Checkout. I also accept Etsy gift cards.

Please note: you do not need to register for a Paypal account if paying by credit card.

** Virginia residents will be charged a 5% sales tax with purchase.
Shipping
Your order will ship within 1-2 days from the date of purchase/payment received unless otherwise notified.

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail; international orders are shipped via USPS First Class International.

***Please make sure that your Etsy address is correct. That is the address I will use unless otherwise instructed.
