My Little Itch - Dedicated to Supporting High Risk Pregnancies

Hi, my name is Annie Edwards. I recently had my first "little itchy" baby. During my pregnancy I became very itchy...like scratch my skin off, can't sleep, going to go crazy itchy. After talking to my doctor and running a few blood tests, I was diagnosed with a high risk pregnancy condition called ICP (intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy). This is a rare pregnancy condition where the liver doesn’t process bile acids correctly, which leads to an increase in the chance of having a stillbirth. The only cure for this condition is delivery, usually around 36-38 weeks pregnant. After many weeks of fearing for my baby girl's life, I was finally induced at 37 weeks. My little itchy "Elle" was born safe and healthy in December of 2016. ICP is a terrifying ordeal, and I want to do all I can to help other mothers in the same situation. I started my etsy shop to raise awareness of ICP, and support the research behind it. That's why I'm donating 10% of all my proceeds to ICP Care, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity.
