We ordered Mexican wedding confetti and were surprised and elated to discover the text came from Lord of the Rings. As Mexican nerds, this was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for being part of our wedding experience.

This was the biggest hit at the party! From children to adults, they were breaking eggs like maniacs. I was shocked by how much fun the guests had. This is worth the investment. And, I recommend that you buy a large quantity. They go quickly and the guests will ask for more!

I ordered the scarf thinking I was getting what was in the picture since there were multiple pictures of different colored scarves and there wasn't anything saying otherwise. It arrived quickly, but was a completely different color than I was expecting. I contacted the shop and she replied right away that she would replace it. I just got the replacement this week and it's still not what was pictured, but it's closer to what I was expecting so I'm keeping it. It does look nice, Diana was very responsive, and everything shipped quickly. It is true to the dimensions, but for the price it would be nice if it was a little wider.

Are they having a boy or girl? Only the doctor and I know. Everyone else will find out when they crack open the gender reveal cascarones and they find pink or blue confetti! babyskin-tone-3babyskin-tone-3babyskin-tone-3

About

Crafting since childhood

The first thing I can remember making is a dress for my Barbie when I was six years old. My father bought me some dresses for my dolls at a drive-in theater swap meet in Los Angeles in the late 60s. When we got home I vividly recall turning the dresses inside out to figure out how they were made.

Years later I would make every prom dress I ever wore, even my sister's lace covered wedding dress.

There was the phase where I embroidered anything that was denim, turned twine into macrame, painted with pastels, charcoal, oils, acrylics, and water colors. I made extra money in college decorating cakes.

That probably explains why I always wanted my own gift shop with one-of-a-kind items ... that's what selling on Etsy lets me do.

I have fun making my original Mexican Wedding Favors with Day of the Dead and Loteria themes, painting cartons of egg shells and filling them with hand cut confetti for Easter celebrations or fiestas. I also enjoy folding delicate tissue paper into colorful Mexican Tissue flowers for weddings and parties.

Etsy lets me own that gift shop I've always wanted.
