Handmade Soap That's Good For Your Skin

Kingsport, Tennessee | 795 Sales

Announcement    Welcome to MY MOUNTAIN FLOWER SOAP. I live in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee, where I make all my soaps by hand. They are made from scratch in small batches. The finest ingredients make a bar that is gentle and mild with rich, luxurious lather. Many of my soaps contain goat milk which has many skin benefits. Most are made with vegetable oils. I have 1 soap that is made with lard. I use all natural ingredients when possible. Most soaps are made with essential oils. Some are made with fragrance oils. I use only natural plant-based colorants.

I have about 27 fragrances of soap. I have the following:

Barber Shop, Beach, Calendula & Tea Tree, Charcoal & Tea Tree, Cucumber Melon, Dirt, Eucalyptus Mint, Frankincense & Myrrh, Fresh Linen, Honey Almond, Honeysuckle, Lavender, Lavender Patchouli, Lemongrass, Lilac, Oatmeal Chamomile, Orange Cinnamon Clove, Patchouli Orange, Patchouli Spice, Peppermint, Pink Raspberry, Pumpkin Spice, Sandalwood, & Vetiver

THANKS, DEB

Experience The Luxury Of Using Natural Handmade Soaps!

I have always preferred using natural products on my skin. As a young woman in the 1970s, the idea of "back to nature" was in vogue. As I got older, I was always on the lookout for products that would make my skin look & feel younger.

About 10 years ago, I was searching the internet for something I could make myself. I dicovered a recipe for a moisturizer that was primarily cocoa butter & beeswax. I made this & loved it! I still make this item. It is my "Bee Bar".

Related searches brought up instuctions for soapmaking. I was fascinated but frightened off by the warnings about using lye. Then I discovered something called "melt & pour". You purchase this premade soap base, melt it, add whatever you want, then pour it into a mold. This sounded simple enough, so I tried it. It was fun! When I washed with the soap, my skin felt ok...pretty good. Then I noticed that the soap base ingredients contained additives & things I didn't recognize.

I realized that I wasn't making soap, I was just "re-molding" it. I decided that I wanted to make "real" soap. I began making soap from scratch. I control what does & does not go into it.

THE 1ST TIME I USED MY SOAP, I WAS REALLY SURPRISED BY THE WAY MY SKIN FELT. IT WAS VELVETY, THE WAY IT FELT YEARS AGO, SUPPLE & MOISTURIZED, BUT CLEAN!

As others tried it & liked it, I started making larger amounts & more "flavors". Eventually I started my business so others could experience this wonderful feeling!

Hi! My name is Deb. I was born in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. Since I was a little girl, I have always loved making things. When I was 7, I took a bar of Ivory soap & carved it into a duck. It floated in my bathtub! I loved it!
