What can you expect to receive from me and my Etsy shop?

1. Artisan quality, handmade items. Perfection?... no, not quite. Perfection is not a part of handmade. No two handmade items will ever be exactly alike. Perfection is for machines. Handmade has the human touch, and therefore has more heart and soul than machine-made perfection. I am confident that you will appreciate the handmade touch given to the items you purchase from my Etsy shop. All items in my shop have been made by me personally.

2. Utmost care in shipping. Both in packaging and in timeliness. I handle all of my own shipping personally. I put as much care into shipping as I do into creating the item to be shipped, so that your items will arrive safe and sound in a timely manner.

3. Friendly communications and notification of shipment. I enjoy corresponding with my customers and keeping them informed. If you have any questions whatsoever, please don't hesitate to contact me. But will you receive instant replies?... not exactly. I am busy in my studio making new items for my shop, or spending time with family and friends, or enjoying the great outdoors hiking, bicycling, skiing, etc., and am unable to be constantly connected to my computer and the internet. I will usually reply to your questions within 12 hours, unless I am gone for the weekend, or my shop is on vacation. I appreciate your kind understanding in this regard.

4. Respect of email address. I respect my customers' email addresses, and will not be sending you promotion emails of any kind after your transaction is finished. I do not send out newsletters at this time, but you can choose to keep up with my shops if you like, by visiting my blog at: mymountainstudio.blogspot.com.

- Direct credit/debit card payment through my ProPay merchant account. (Etsy does not have this option enabled in checkout, but I can send you an email invoice with a secure link to pay with this option if you'd like. Just let me know you'd like this payment option.)
Shipping
All packages are generally shipped within 2 days of receiving cleared payment, excluding weekends & holidays, and you will be notified when your item has been shipped.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (in the US):
- I ship most items via USPS. Packages weighing 13 ounces or less will ship via First Class. Packages over 13 ounces will ship via Priority Mail.
- Unusually large or heavy items will be shipped via FedEx.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
- Items available for international shipping will be shipped via International First Class.
*Please note: I am not responsible for any customs fees or delays on international shipments. Buyer is responsible for any customs fees, so please check with your customs office about any related fees before making a purchase. And please be patient in waiting for your item to arrive, as International First Class can sometimes take several weeks, which I have absolutely no control over.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me right away. I will handle any returns/refunds on an individual basis according to the individual circumstances. My goal is to have happy customers.
