I had a baby shower for two lovely ladies and they LOVED this! I asked Stephanie (MyPaperPetals) to have the ribbon long enough to tie around the girls' waists. She was prompt in responding to me and was willing to help me out. It was a big success and they were beautiful!

About

A bride on a mission.

Paper flower addict. That's what I've become since creating paper flowers for my Summer 2013 wedding. Upset by the thought of spending money on pricey bouquets that would be alive for only a fleeting moment caused me to look outside the box. I wanted something I would love just as much, if not more, than live flowers. I wanted a bouquet I could hold onto for a lifetime as a reminder of this awesome day. I started the search for an "alternative" bouquet at the end of 2012, and did endless experimenting with various materials and crafty flowers. I really couldn't see an end in sight.

Although I started off with a little randomness in the flowers I created, with practice, I learned what styles of flowers look great together in a bouquet. I also quickly learned how to use different paper colors and prints to create unity with variety. The end result was something more than I expected when I started this trek months before.

For my wedding, I created my bouquet, two bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres for my bridesmen and the rest of our wedding party. They were mostly yellow and ivory, with a little robin's egg blue in there for some contrast. While the flowers looked beautiful, they still had that uniqueness that fit into our wedding of karaoke, tacos, gourmet donuts, and bridesmen in shorts. Despite all of those things I just mentioned, my flowers really stood out to a lot of our guests. When the venue's wedding director said she'd put me on her "preferred vendors" list if I wanted to start selling them, I knew I had something.

Once the wedding was over (in the blink of an eye!), I just had to create more flowers. The endless color combinations, fun prints, and soft pearls were calling my name. Thus, MyPaperPetals was born. My flowers are crafted with a ton of love and care, as well as oh-so-precious time. So if you're looking for something memorable, long-lasting, and beautiful, MyPaperPetals may be right up your alley.

I am so appreciative of brides and grooms who have sought me out to create the flowers for their weddings. It is an absolute honor to be a part of their day. I look forward to all those yet to come.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my shop.

I welcome custom orders! Before I begin work on custom orders under $400, payment is due in full up front. For large orders over $400, a 50% deposit will be due up front before I begin my work. The remaining balance will be due when I begin the second half of your flowers. Payment is non-refundable, as I will have already begun purchasing supplies and putting in hours for your wonderful flowers.
Shipping
I use Priority Mail 1-3 day service through USPS. Packages are insured up to $100, but additional insurance may be purchased (just let me know). I am not responsible for packages that have been lost or damaged by the USPS, so I do recommend insuring your purchase if the cost exceeds $100. You will be notified via email once your package has shipped. This email will also include a tracking number. Local pickup is free and available for those who live in/near the South Bay. Please message me to coordinate!

Multiple boutonnieres will generally be shipped together. I will usually ship bouquets separately so that I can pack each one securely.

For custom orders, please see the listing for time required to create your flowers before they will be processed for shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not issue refunds unless there has been a significant omission or mistake on my part in the description of the item. Packages are insured against loss or damage up to $100. Additional insurance may be purchased.
Additional policies and FAQs
From a single flower, boutonniere, or bouquet to an entire wedding of flowers, I can create what you are looking for. Everything about my flowers is customizable, including size, color, paper type, flower types, amount of flowers, handle wrap, and flower centers (pearls, brads, buttons). Just click the "custom order" button or message me and let me know what you're thinking! I would love to work with you to create your perfect arrangement. Please let me know by when you will need your custom order. I can let you know if what you need is doable in that amount of time.

A note on custom orders: Prices listed are based on papers I carry. I am always happy to look for a certain print or color for you that I don't have in-stock. Pricing for your custom order will be based on the papers you choose.

To care for your flowers, as with any other paper product or important photo, keep them away from direct sunlight, water, heat, and open flame. While my flowers are pretty sturdy, especially compared to live flowers, they are paper and can be crushed. Treat them with care. To remove dust, try a can of compressed air.
