I am disappointed in the pallid gold tone and small defects in enamel not shown in photos. Considering the price, this is unacceptable and, I think, deceitful.

We reached out to the customer and suggested the photos would be clearer on a desktop and show everything she was dissatisfied with. Our listing had every angle and close-up of this item so there would not be any question as to what was being purchased. We offered for her to return it free of charge and give her a full refund, she refused as she said it was a gift. She felt as if we were bullying her to change her feedback even though we thanked her for her candid review. We always try to go above and beyond for our customers but sadly we can only do that if the customer is willing to let us. For future customers, we will never and have never asked anyone to change their feedback. We have never been in this situation but will take it and move on. We appreciate any and all feedback, especially if it allows us to grow.

WOW! I was on the fence about buying this bracelet set, and I'm so glad I did. It came packaged securely and is a sturdy, substantial piece of jewelry. The colors are beautiful together, and it's such an interesting design. I can't wait to wear it and plan to convert the loose earrings into a ring and pendant. Thank you!
A passion for keeping the past alive
My Mother lost her husband, our stepfather, many years ago and after the dust settled we could see we had a long road ahead of us. Once our Mother made the decision to downsize it took us a year to sift through memories and belongings.
Lemons to lemonade, I learned just how much I loved vintage and antique during that sabbatical. It's amazing what older generations have collected over the years. I couldn't imagine throwing out all those old things even though the world loves shiny and new. Growing up in the "vintage" era I was overwhelmed with memories over the simplest of treasures.
As I look at my business now and the amazing ten years I have been selling vintage and antique treasures I see just what a blessing it all was. Truly, ashes can be turned into beauty. I am so very thankful for the era I grew up in and all of the memories I have from simpler times.

The creator of all new crochet items has a creative talent that I enjoy carrying in my shop. It fits in with what our shop already sells.
A few quick answers to the most asked questions are:
1. We are unable to cancel an order if the item has already been processed. We are unable to retrieve the item once shipped.
2. We always reimburse shipping if the cost you paid is less than what is calculated when your package is processed. We do not believe in making a profit on shipping costs.
3. Before passing us up because shipping seems high, please reach out to us. On listings where items are sold separately, Etsy will calculate shipping cost based on the heaviest item. If there are light weight or smaller items within the same listing we will gladly adjust the shipping charges for the item(s) you are interested in. We always combine shipping as well to help save on cost.

Returns and exchange details
1. Notify me within 2 days of receiving your order if you wish to return your item.
2. Items must be in their original packaging & received in it's original condition. I am unable to take responsibility for lost packages so please consider shipping with a delivery confirmation.
3. I am unable to take responsibility of damaged returned packages during shipping. Please consider insurance on expensive items.
4. If you are unable to return your item during the allowed 7 days an exchange or gift card can be offered on a case by case basis. Gift cards issued by Deja Vu Vintiques can only be redeemed in Deja Vu Vintiques Etsy store. (Please note: we understand that no one can help shipping times, if you have a confirmation showing when you mailed it but I received it well after 14 days we do not blame you. We will take into consideration EVERY aspect of life's curve balls.)
An item exchange or the issue of a Gift Card is not possible until your return is completed. You will be notified immediately when your package is back in my hands. Again, It is recommended that you use shipping confirmation or insure valuable items if returning.
We do not accept checks or money orders due to fraudulent transactions.
We work very hard to get orders out within 24 to 48 hours or receiving them. There are some cases where this may be difficult because of an influx of orders during large sale events, holidays and weekends.
Additional policies and FAQs
Most everything in our store is a consignment item. We list vintage and antique merchandise for our clients. The merchandise is consigned under an agreement with the original owner. We are located in Iredell County in North Carolina and have other merchandise that may be on consignment for local purchase and pick up only. The reason for our local sales could be due to the size of an item or it is not vintage or antique so therefore cannot be listed in our store. Do you ship Internationally
Yes. If you see a listing that does not have international shipping available you can reach out to request a shipping quote.
How do I know if you ship to my Country
Take a moment to research Etsy's policies on countries that are prohibited. As for our shop, we do ship to Canada and the UK. If you live outside of these area you are welcome to send us a message with your information.
If I purchase something that is expensive, will you be willing to devalue the item on the customs label to help with fees when it reaches my country
No. We will never devalue anything being shipped to another country. Do not ask us to falsify custom documents.
Are possible custom fees or dues included in the price of international items?
No. We do not take into consideration international fees or dues that may be attached or charged on a item we ship to another country. ALL fees and/or dues are customers responsibility.
I live internationally and want to return an item but I am past the return deadline listed in your policies
If you are an international customer and have purchased something you wish to return, the return policies do not pertain to you. We understand that international shipments can take a week or more to arrive. Thanks to tracking we are able to see when your package arrives and if you are not happy with your order we still require you to reach out within 3 days of your receipt of the package to request a return.
