Quality Is Key

Ever since Mystical Woodlands (formerly known as SonFairySmallThings) was founded, we’ve had a important focus on quality fairy garden accessories at a great price.

In 2014, we began selling at local craft shows and farmers markets in the metro-detroit area!

In 2018, we expanded to also include floral picks, and fillers as a part of our brand, in order to be your one-stop-shop for all your fairy garden needs. We also introduced three exclusive collections, Day At The Beach, Gypsy Garden, and Medieval Fantasy. We’re not done yet! We plan to be at 300 items by the end of 2018 and 500 by 2020!

In March 2018, we hit our first major milestone: 1,000 items sold on Etsy!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
Returns and exchange details
14 day money back returns. Contact us with your issues and we will try to resolve it. Buyer pays return shipping unless we did not describe part of the item. We are not responsible for loss in the mail.

Large/Custom orders: If you wish to return your large/custom order to me, a refund will be granted but the cost of shipping and a 10% restocking fee will be subtracted from the refund.

Returned packages: If a package is returned to me with an address not found label on it, I will contact you to resolve the issue. If I receive no response within 7 days or you wish to refund the purchase, a 10% restocking fee and shipping charges will be subtracted from the refund.

International: I can only tack package within the USA borders, after it leaves the borders, I cannot track you package. Buyer will pay for returns.

Free Shipping Orders: Orders over $35 will include free shipping. If an item or items are returned and the order total then falls below $35, the shipping cost will be subtracted from the refund.

VAT Customers: If an item is returned to me because buyer did not pay required taxes, a refund will be issued minus original shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted.
We happily accept PayPal, Etsy Checkout and Etsy Gift Cards. Other forms of payment are not accepted unless otherwise discussed. Orders must be paid within 10 days of order date.
We ship to the USA and International. We use USPS First Class mail (3-5 Domestic business days, 7-10 business days International).

If you need signature confirmation, insurance or any other extra service or upgrade, please contact us before your purchase so we can set up the listing for you.

International Customers: Please note that once the package leaves the United States, USPS nor us are responsible for it.

VAT Customers: You must pay your Value Added Tax (VAT) in order to receive your product. Us nor Etsy are not responsible for paying the VAT taxes on your item. If an item is returned to us because buyer did not pay required taxes, a refund will be issued minus original shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted. Per regulations and laws, we are not able to mark your package as "Gift" to avoid you paying taxes. Any customer who insists we do, will be canceled and reported to Etsy.

Once the package leaves our shipping point and is accepted past the local post office, We are no longer responsible for it. We will do all in our power to help you but we are not responsible for losses in the mail.

Feedback: We love receiving feedback for our items. We strive to make every customer satisfied with their purchase. If any problems arise, please message us before leaving a review. We also love getting photos of your fairy gardens with our products in them. Please note that Etsy does remove feedbacks that mention 3rd party companies (i.e. USPS, etc.) or feedbacks that count as extortion (i.e. "Return my item or else I am leaving a negative feedback on your shop"). We do have the power to reply to some feedbacks giving our side of the story.

Wholesale: We will do wholesale pricing. Just message us and we will work out prices with you. We will only do items in which are listed in my shop. If we discontinue an item in my shop, chances are we will no longer have them available for wholesale. We will provide you a detailed invoice in your package in case you need one for record keeping.

Gift Wrapping: We do not currently offer gift wrapping at this time. When you mark an items as a "Gift", all it does is prevents the price of the item from appearing on the packing slip. However, We are glad to leave a small note in the package for whomever will be receiving the item.

Care instructions

All of our products are made with high quality materials. They will survive out in the wilderness, but we recommend that you bring them inside during cold season, and leave them out of direct sunlight. If for any reason your item becomes dirty, a light scrub with a mild soap should do the trick!

Items with batteries are not recommend for outdoor use. If the batteries die, please contact us and we can set up a listing for more if you need them!

Wholesale availability

Our handmade items are available for wholesale purchase! Please contact us and we will work out pricing details. We ask that all wholesale orders follow a $150 USD price minimum, but we do make exceptions based on several factors!


Most of our items ship via the United States Postal Service. Our shipping guarantee is Free Shipping over $35. To keep product prices at the lowest we can offer, items may ship via the least expensive shipping service, unless otherwise requested.

If you need overnight services, please contact us for availability. Please note that most times, our 3-5 day handing time may still be applicable to your rush order.

Where is my item?

Please note that sometimes your items may move slower than expected. Once the label is created, we send the packages off to the post office to begin their journey into your home. We cannot be responsible for lost packages in the mail, but we will try everything in our power to find it for you.

If for any reason, a mail claim leads to the courier refunding us for lost product, once we receive the money, we will refund it back to you. You will be updated with any information we may hear from the courier.
