My Sweetie Bean wants you to be a happy and satisfied customer. Due to the nature of items we sell, we are unable to accept returns on hair accessories. If there is a problem with your order when it arrives, please contact me immediately. If there is damage in transit please contact me within 7 days of receipt of merchandise.
We do accept returns and exchanges on items of clothing (excluding crochet items.) Provided the clothing is returned in the original packaging, tags attached, clean, unused, unworn and have no odors, you may return them within 14 days of contacting me and receive a refund, less original shipping charges. Refunds will not be issued for returned items that are worn, damaged or unsaleable due to improper packaging, so please use the box your order was sent in to return your items. If an item is returned that offers free shipping, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the amount refunded.
The cost of return shipping is your responsibility. Please insure your return package as My Sweetie Bean cannot be held financially responsible for lost or misdirected mail on returned packages.

My Sweetie Bean custom designs are carefully handcrafted with exacting attention to detail and personalized to your order specifications. No refunds will be issued on custom orders or made to order items, but I will make every effort to work with you until you are happy and satisfied. If you contact me to cancel your custom order after work has begun a partial refund will be issued, deducting materials used and percentage of work completed from the order total.

Orders ship via USPS First Class Parcel. Orders over 13oz ship via Priority Mail. Delivery confirmation is always included and you will receive an email with tracking number.

Your order will ship to the address you specify during checkout. If it is a gift, use the recipient's address. Please make sure the address is current and correct. Refunds are not issued for orders if you supply an incorrect and/or outdated address or your address forwarding is expired.

Orders may take from 1 to 6 weeks to arrive from date of shipment depending on your location and customs regulations in your country. Please note that customs, import duties and/or taxes are your responsibility. My Sweetie Bean includes an accurate customs form with each order and will not accept returns based on duty/tax cost. Please note that if you do not claim your parcel it will be forfeit to your local postal service and not returned to me. No refund will be issued if you forfeit your package.
Please do not ask that your merchandise be marked as a gift. It cannot be done. A false, misleading, or incomplete declaration can result in the seizure or return of the item and/or in criminal or civil penalties for the seller and the buyer.

Yes. If your order is a gift, please let me know and I will wrap it in colored tissue paper sealed with our signature sticker free of charge. I will also include a note if you wish, just leave a message in the "NOTES" section of the shopping cart. I will not include a receipt in gift orders. Please remember to use the gift recipient’s address during checkout!

➤ How will you ship my hair accessories?
My Sweetie Bean ships all orders in new boxes to avoid crushing or damage. In an effort to reduce our environmental footprint, we use ECT boxes and we no longer ship bows over 3” on our branded accessory cards. Our merchandise is sealed in cello sleeves to protect against the elements during shipping.
➤ Who is your shipping carrier?
We ship exclusively with USPS. Most orders ship via USPS First Class Mail Parcel. Domestic orders over 13oz ship via Priority Mail. Delivery confirmation is always included and you will receive an email with tracking number. Shipping upgrades are available via the shopping cart during checkout.
➤ Do you ship internationally?
Yes, all international orders ship via USPS First Class Parcel International. Tracking is available at this time in many countries. ➤ Can you mark my international order as a gift?
No, we can’t mark “gift” on the customs form. A false, misleading, or incomplete declaration to avoid customs charges can result in the seizure or return of the item and/or in criminal or civil penalties for the seller AND the buyer.
➤ Do you smoke or have pets?
If you have allergies or sensitivities as we do, please rest assured that my home and my studio is smoke free and pet free.
➤ Who makes the items in your shop?
All items are handmade by me so please allow time for production and shipping of your order. I make each item from start to finish so you are assured of high quality and durability.
➤ How do you make your bows? Do you use bow makers or templates?
I do not use bow templates or bow makers. My style is my own, no methods or tutorials are used. I hand fold, hand crease, and hand sew all boutique bows. This gives the bows a uniformity that tying alone cannot accomplish. Ribbon ends are always heat sealed. Boutique bows and stacked bows are stiffened and/or set with heat to keep their lovely shape with no fuss.
➤ Do you use no slip grips? What kind of no slip grip do you use?
I use thin and clear high grade silicone grips with excellent 3M holding power on all snap clips and alligator clips. Triple Flip Grip brand can literally hold the clip in with ONE hair!
➤ Do you do custom work?
I love custom requests so please don’t hesitate to message me. If you don’t see an option listed – you want it on skinny elastic, a larger French clip, made for a baby – just send me a conversation!
➤ How is your clothing finished? Are the seams raw? Will it look “homemade”?
All clothing is professionally finished with an industrial serger and sewn with the utmost care and attention to detail. All clothing has professional labels and care tags sewn in place, along with hang tags. Clothes are shipped in a cello bag to protect against the elements while in transit to you.
➤ Do I need to order a larger size so my child can “grow into” the clothing?
All my clothing - crocheted and sewn - is constructed with your child's comfort in mind. And for much of my clothing, there is no need to "buy big" because nearly every garment I design combines room to grow with a great fit. Your child will get two, and very possibly three years of wear from many of my clothing designs.
➤ Do you crochet the items you sell?
I crochet all the items in my shop by hand. All crocheted items are professionally finished. Stitches have even tension and color changes and pieces are started and finished seamlessly. Loose ends are woven discreetly through the stitches and fastened off tightly. Every crocheted item is shipped in an inner cello sleeve or bag to avoid damage from the elements during shipping.
➤ Did you buy your crochet patterns? Can I buy your patterns?
My clothing and crochet patterns are original to my shop and written by me. I have no plans at this time to sell my patterns.
