Thank you, I love it! I love that the cord for the necklace is adjustable, too. And the little bag it came in is lovely.

About

Hand-Crafted Jewelry - Magical, Mythical Paintings - One-of-a-Kind Sacred or Silly Sculptures

On Friday the 13th in April, Ty was struck with a very curious question: What would happen if a shoppe were created to sell magic paintings? Could such a thing even work?

Jerynn, a long-time artist and jewelry craftsman, had been contemplating creating an Etsy store to sell his handmade jewelry and to take custom requests... and so Ty suggested teaming up. Sell tribal jewelry and magic paintings side-by-side? Of course it would work!

In one breathless evening, the Mythic Curios Etsy shoppe and accompanying website was built and fleshed out with options for custom requests, reassuring shop policies, and a tenuous, hopeful dream that offering creativity and beauty and magic to the world might actually work.

In the following weeks, Ty and Jerynn began filling the shoppe with unique creations and expanding on their original plans. Ty even started crafting jewelry along with Jerynn, expanding the styles and options available for the people who would desire and appreciate the kinds of jewelry and art they create. And, some months later, a third Mythic Crafter joined the duo: Ty's sister Kaitlyn, gifted sculptor and painter.

And so we're here, in Mythic Curios' sweet-tempered youth, crafting and dreaming and seeing what creativity the future will hold.

Payment
If the buyer needs to cancel an order for any reason, a full refund will be given if cancellation is made before a pre-made item is shipped or a made-to-order item is begun. If a pre-made item has already been shipped, the buyer can return it and receive a refund of item cost, minus shipping costs. If a made-to-order item has been started or finished, the buyer and seller can discuss how much may be refunded; so long as the custom item has not been shipped, at least the shipping costs will be refunded.

If a buyer needs to defer payment or wishes to request a payment plan, please contact the seller to see if arrangements can be made to suit both parties' needs. :)
Shipping
Custom paintings, jewelry, and sigils are shipped on the Thursday or Saturday following buyer approval and item completion, unless agreed upon by buyer and seller due to special circumstances or required materials. Pre-made items are shipped on the Thursday or Saturday following receipt of payment. Standard shipping goes through USPS; if you would prefer a different carrier, please let us know! We are happy to send you a confirmation note when your items have been shipped.

Please note that items shipped to Canada will take roughly 2 weeks to arrive, in order to save both buyer and seller exorbitant shipping costs. :) All international buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

If a special method of shipping is needed - extra-fast delivery, package insurance, signature required, special gift box wanted, etc - please contact us before purchase to let us know and make sure we can accommodate the request! We're very happy to work with you, and we appreciate the heads-up. If the special request increases the shipping costs drastically, the buyer will be responsible for the extra cost.

If you have any questions about shipping at all, please let us know before purchase and we'll be happy to quote exact costs of special requests and estimated times of delivery.
Refunds and Exchanges
(See Payment Policy for information about refunds on canceled orders.)

Should an item arrive damaged or not arrive at all, please inform the sellers; refund/replacement requests will be handled on an individual circumstance. We will do our best to churn out a happy ending for all involved, we promise!

If an item intended as a gift to another person is not well-received, we will accept a return and will refund the cost of the item; the buyer will pay all shipping costs.

Ideally, all refunds/returns will be completed within a month of the original order placement. However, should something extraordinary occur after that month, contact us and we'll see what we can do for you. :)

If an item is lost after the buyer receives it, the seller will not be held responsible with replacing it or refunding the cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
Repair Policy: We make our jewelry to last. If your item breaks with wear or by accident, please let us know! We will accept the item back and repair it for you; all you pay are shipping costs to and from us. Repair will be done to the best of our ability and based on availability of replacement parts.

Because all of our work is hand-made and usually one of a kind, replacement may be with similar but not the same materials as the original. Large pendants or similar centerpieces may not be replaceable, or may be replaced with an additional fee, depending on the cost of the material.

If a painting becomes chipped, scratched, or faded, it may also be returned to us for touch-ups. If the painting has been soaked or stained, repair may not be possible.

If you have questions or concerns about specific replacement needs, don't hesitate to contact us!
