Announcement   Welcome to "My vintage whimsies." I hope you enjoy browsing my shop and invite you to stop by again to see what little creations are brewing in my studio.

As I have grown as an artist and person, my art has focused more and more on the importance of relationships, connections with our past, and all matters of the heart and human spirit. I am most inspired when I create art that celebrates life's big and small joys and embraces both the past and present. I have been making a lot of cards lately because I am an advocate of the handwritten letter or note. I am a sentimental person and that is reflected in my art pieces that use photos, hymnals, and embellishments that have a story to tell.

I love using gathered vintage materials and photos to create art that is both whimsical and endearing, (art that makes you feel loved and comforted.) I use vintage lace, aged hymnal pages, buttons from my Grandma's button box, old family photos, German glass glitter, letters etc. regularly in my creations. Most of these materials have been collected over the years and have emotional in addition of monetary value.

I rarely make two pieces of art which are the same, nor do I rush the process. My art is created from the heart and my appreciation of the many blessings I have in my life. This gratitude is expressed in quite a few of my pieces and I know they will find the right home. I really do want you to love what you receive in the mail when you order from me so please speak up if there is any problem at all. I will take good care of you.

If you want to send a gift from my shop I do gift wrap all purchases and would make it extra special for the recipient!! Also, if you find a piece of my art that you would love to have with one of your special photos featured on it, I can custom make that piece for you. Just get in touch with me and we can work out the details.

Because I incorporate aged materials in my pieces, there are occasions when there could be imperfects, staining, or irregularities in texture or color. I make every attempt to show this in my photographs. In my mind, that is part of the beauty of art created with materials or photographs from the past.

If you are interested in my art and live outside of the United States and Canada, please contact me and I can provide shipping/packaging fees and we can proceed from there.

My art has been widely published in numerous Stampington Publications including: Legacy, Take Ten, Somerset Studio, Holidays and Celebrations, and Stamper's Sampler

Simple, but very unique card because of removable magnet. I always find something fun on Lori's site!

Payment
In keeping with Etsy's new payment policies, I am able to process a variety of payment options, which include paypal and most major credit cards. This policy from Etsy was implemented to make this unique marketplace as user friendly as possible.
Shipping
I always wrap your purchases because it's such a nice way to receive a package! If you are purchasing gifts, I can gift wrap them separately and can include a gift tag as well.

Most of the art I ship will be sent first class or priority mail. If you order magazines or art books I ship them as media mail which is considerably less in shipping fees. The down side is it takes longer.
Priority mail packages do include $50 insurance. If you want to insure a package for more, please let me know and I will adjust the shipping fees accordingly.

I will combine shipping for multiple items. My shipping/packaging fees are an estimate. If my fees are less than my estimate I issue a buyer refund through the method of payment.

For all shipments outside of the US or Canada, please contact me for the actual costs.
Refunds and Exchanges
It is important to me that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. If there is a problem, please contact me personally. Please keep in mind that my art is handcrafted using a variety of vintage materials so there could be some slight imperfections.
Additional policies and FAQs
I love vintage photos. Did you notice? So, if you have a special photo and see a piece of my art it would look perfect in, contact me and we can discuss creating a special order.
