I really like the color combo : dark yellow on a white backdrop ! I am not going to use it a key chain accessory as is too precious.

About

Natural, simple beauty uncovered!

I wandered upon a craiglist ad for lapidary equipment having never operated any of it. After inquiring if the low price included everything in the listing I bought it sight unseen and traveled from Seattle to Hoquium, about 250 miles round trip, to pick up my new toys! It was love at first cut! I have been cutting, grinding, shaping, tumbling, polishing, drilling, designing and creating cabs, sculptures, bookends, bookmarks, keychains, and other misc. items as well as jewelry for over 3 years now!

Mother Earth is the ultimate artist here. I "mine" through thousands of pounds of stone, listening very carefully to each piece, and locate the sweet spots to showcase. My intention is only to enhance the natural, simple beauty without overpowering it with high gloss- with the exception of malachite as it begs for that high gloss!

It takes 6 weeks to polish a stone in a tumbler! 7-10 days for each grit phase. It is meticulous work as a single grain of grit from a phase left in the tumbler will ruin the entire load and you have to start all over again! That's an expensive mistake! I have separate sieves and tumbler barrels for each phase to avoid contamination.

Reiki is my passion! Everything on this planet is made up of energy. I incorporate the metaphysical properties of different stones and crystals into my Reiki practice as well as most of my listings.

I hope you enjoy wander shopping through my store. Please feel free to ask me anything- I'll try my best to answer, solve or provide whatever it is you need!

May you always have love in your heart and peace in your soul! ~Deanna

I've had an interest in stones and crystals forever! I participate in Reiki and incorporate the metaphysical healing properties and energy of stones in that practice. I design and create all of my cabs and pendants, including the labradorite pendant I'm wearing in the picture, from the rough stone to finished product! Stones and crystals are simple statements of beauty. I only enhance Mother Earth's already gorgeous creations for your pleasure! Enjoy!

I love rocks! I believe in selling products that I would buy myself at a price I would be willing to pay. I hand make all of my cabochons using only rock saws, a dremel, and tumblers. I try to incorporate matrix into the finished product often as the texture and beauty is two fold. I am intrigued by the hidden beauty of stones and crystals and love to share that with others. Thank you for taking the time to shop at nanarocks206. I would be honored if you would tell your friends! I hope to see you back soon! ~Deanna

Payment
I accept PayPal and money orders.
Payment is expected at the time of sale.
9.7% sales tax to Washington residents.
Shipping
I ship via USPS 1st Class mail using padded mailers, cardboard boxes, and Priority flat rate boxes for larger rough lapidary materias. I include delivery confirmation. I am eco-friendly so I do reduce, reuse, recycle some packaging materials. Padded mailers are reinforced with recycled cardboard for the safety of your purchase. Shipping and processing does not include insurance though it can be added at your expense. (I have never had a single item "lost" in the mail.) I ship within 24 hours of cleared payment unless otherwise mentioned or you've paid for expedited shipping. Because I use USPS I cannot ship on Sundays or holidays. Delivery to Canada is dependent on destination and can take two weeks or more to arrive.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will accept returns for a store credit of the purchase price (and tax if applicable). The item(s) must be returned in the original size, shape, and weight that they were sold. Understand that lapidary materials contain flaws, fractures and pitting, some seen some unseen. Mother Nature put them there. I describe them to the best of my ability in the item description and I incorporate them into my products. Postage in both directions is the responsibility of the buyer.

If you purchased insurance and your item is damaged in shipping please contact the post office to file a claim.
Additional policies and FAQs
My avatar is a cabochon of my creation made from MontanaTortoise Shell Agate.
I will entertain special requests i.e. stone specific cabs ready for wire wrap and/or wholesale lots. I have a modest but varied inventory of rough stone and crystal as I believe in offering a variety of products in a variety of different stone not mass producing from the same stone. Please contact me if you are looking for a specific stone or crystal or if you have a specific/custom request.
