5 out of 5 starsI purchased this gorgeous mermaid in a wine glass ceramic tile as a gift because she reminds me of my very dear friend. This mermaid looks so gorgeous in my kitchen that I think I will purchase one for myself! I know my friend is going to love it! Nancy Q Studios is my gift buying go to. Fabulous customer service! (This picture doesn’t do the beautiful rich colors of the lovely artwork justice. And the white spec is on my iPhone camera lens. Time for a new phone!)

5 out of 5 starsI purchased the 12" x 12" Mermaid I named Angelina. I affixed her to the shower wall using Alien tape and now I get to shower every morning with Angelina. It is a nice way to start the day!

Hello & Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my art shop. It means so much to me when someone connects with my art and I love hearing from my customers. I'm an artist working out of my home studio in Northern California. I paint a lot of mermaids because I love women, the ocean and fantasy. Our oceans connect all life. The ocean is powerful yet fragile. I think women are like the ocean in many ways too. They are strong, give life, can be playful and soft while still being a force of nature. I like to capture their playfulness and ability to nurture. All of my artwork is packaged carefully for safe shipment. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
ABOUT MY WORK: I sell my art online and in galleries. I'm pleased to share that my artwork was published in Laguna Beach Magazine, Pink Magazine, Paisley Magazine, in the Golden Thread Project book by The Golden Thread Gallery and on the cover of country singer, Patrice Webb's CD. It's also been used on Universal Studio and TLC sets. One of my mermaid paintings can seen in the movie Sisters starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. I have large mural paintings hanging in Bay Area businesses in located in Black Hawk, California. And it was an honor to have my mermaid paintings on display at the ADEX International show In Singapore, India, China, Indonesia and Egypt promoting plastic free oceans which is something I believe in.
MY MEDIUMS: I use many different mediums which include acrylic paint, watercolors and soft pastels. I enjoy creating texture which is done using with many layers of acrylic paint. I feel that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process.
A BIT ABOUT ME: I was lucky enough to grow up in a creative home in the California Foothills. My mother was an artist who inspired me. My father acted in live theater and my sister was a ballet dancer. As a teen I'd spend time painting murals on walls, drawing, illustrating my own short stories and painting theater sets. My love for art never stopped. I am a self taught artist. I'm also an advocate for insuring the arts remain in our public elementary schools. I work part time with for the City of Elk Grove and the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission as a teaching artist for children, teens and adults. I absolutely love what I do. I reside in Northern California with my wonderful husband and two sons who continue to support me. The most important thing to me is family which includes our rescued pets. Paintings
What materials are used for paintings?
Professional paints and quality stretched canvases are used. A clear protectant sealer is applied. Some pieces will utilize additional materials such as watercolors, soft pastels, sand, beads and plaster. All paintings have several layers of acrylic paint applied.
Wholesale availability
Bulk prints of a single image are available for wholesale.

Damaged Packages In The Mail
All packages are insured. For items damaged in transit photos are required. Do not dispose of the item unless instructed to do so. It is possible a return may be necessary. The Carrier may require a buyers written account for the investigation or need to see the damaged item for approval. Carrier requirements will need to be completed in order to obtain a full refund. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of approval. Please don't hesitate to contact Nancy with any questions or concerns. Customer service is a priority.
