shipped on time I expected the colors to be exactly like the picture. It was more brown and tan no orange or yellow in it

Thanks for your feedback! While I try to post photos that show the colors as true as possible, monitors often differ in how the colors appear. If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like a refund or exchange, send me a private message and we can work something out.

About

In an old tin shop...

Potters, I have found, have a unique ability to repurpose nearly any item into a tool of some sort and creatively improvise what they need. In that vein, I have repurposed an old tin shop into my studio (and workshop and storage area). There is no heat, no a/c, no plumbing, and hardly enough insulation - but the desire to create and enjoy my craft overpowers all of that except in the coldest of winter months.

I believe in beautifully useful things.

I strive for perfection, but I always fall (quite) short -- and in the end, I know it's those little flaws that are ultimately my signature. It's handmade and one of a kind; imperfections happen.

As much as I truly love working with clay, these sales are not my sole source of income. I do have a day job -- which, in addition to pottery sales, funds my hobby. :) I will ship stuff promptly, though, because I am always excited to share my work with others!! I know the shop isn't exactly chock-full all the time, but not everything I make is sold: I keep a lot for myself and give plenty to my friends and family.

YES! I do custom orders between May and October! Wondering if my style is compatible with what you'd like? Check out the links (Shop Website is actually my Photobucket gallery) and ask any questions!

Pottery is usually prohibitively expensive to ship outside of the US, so I don't have those prices listed. However, if you are willing to pay the cost, I can create a special listing just for you. Send me a message for details.

Welcome! In my spare time, I enjoy making pottery. Since I can't possibly keep it all, I decided to sell some of it here. Proceeds go toward future pottery projects. :) Custom-made sugar keepers are always available, and if you have any other special requests, let me know!

Payment
Payment is expected within 7 days of purchase unless other arrangements are made in advance. Custom pottery orders have 30 days from proof approval. I will not ship until payment is received and cleared.

I accept credit cards via Etsy, PayPal, or money orders; cash is also accepted if you are picking up the item in person. (I will *only* take personal checks from people that I know personally.)

If you need to cancel your order, please notify me within 7 days. Except for custom orders, nonpayment after 7 days with no communication will result in your order being cancelled. Custom orders need to give me a yes or no within 10 days, or I will cancel the order.

I am legally required to collect 6% sales tax on all orders from PA.
Shipping
I'll ship anywhere if you're willing to pay the postage! I ship via USPS (on Saturdays) and I package items VERY well. I also include insurance and delivery confirmation. Express shipping is available - but I would have to invoice you for the extra cost.

Gift-wrapping is available for an additional charge. I'll also toss in a card if you want. PM me for details *before* you purchase!

If you are local to Harrisburg, PA, I can also arrange to meet you somewhere for pickup. Please contact me for details *before* you purchase!

Please note that I often use re-used packing materials and boxes to save on shipping costs and for environmental reasons. Rest assured that while the packing and the shipping boxes may not look pristine and brand-spanking-new, I do not use anything that's held anything disgusting (for example, raw meat). I also make an honest effort to use the cleanest packaging I have available. ***If you have any concerns or questions or special requests, please let me know ASAP! *** I'm willing to work with you if you would prefer all-new packing due to health concerns (allergies, OCD, etc.). It just might take a few extra days to ship.

Also, pottery is typically prohibitively expensive to ship outside of the US...if you're willing to pay the extra postage, I will ship it. Just send me a message and we'll talk!
Refunds and Exchanges
If something is damaged in transit, or if the item isn't quite what you expected, please contact me (within 5 days) and we will work out something. I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and your experience with me!

If something breaks randomly for no good reason (see details below), please contact me and I will replace the item free of charge.

Any known chips/dings/flaws in a piece will be disclosed on the listing -- these damages are ineligible for refund, since they were disclosed prior to sale. Refunds will be for the item's purchase price only (not shipping or other fees).
Additional policies and FAQs
All of my pottery is handmade stoneware (unless otherwise specified), and can be used in the oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Handwashing is recommended, and as with any ceramic dishes, should be handled with a certain amount of care. Coffee/teacups should be "pre-warmed" with some hot tap water before pouring boiling liquid in them, and when using ovenware, be sure to place cold stoneware in a COLD (not preheated) oven, and allow to cool to room temperature before washing or putting any cold water on them. Not following this rule of thumb can result in cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged stoneware -- and then you'll have to buy more!

Custom orders: Please ask! I'm generally open to anything, but will let you know if I don't think I can do it. If I create something for you and you do not like it, you are under no obligation to purchase it -- I will place it in the shop for sale to the public.

If you purchase it and are not happy with it for some reason, contact me and we'll see what we can do.

**Limited Warranty** If your pottery ever breaks unexpectedly for no good reason during NORMAL USE - i.e., an apple baker cracks in the oven when you've followed directions, or your sugar keeper suddenly snaps in half of its own accord - please let me know and I will replace it free of charge. This warranty does not cover mishandling (dropping), placing cold stoneware in a hot oven, running ice-cold water over hot stoneware, or off-label use like trying to pry open jars with a sugar keeper or using a butter bell for trans-warp experiments.

**Legal-ese** By paying for and accepting this pottery, you agree that I am not liable for any damages caused to you or your property by broken pottery. Broken edges can be sharp, and glaze is basically melted glass! Use caution if it breaks.
