I will procrastinate for you any day.

I always forgot to do my math homework in elementary school because I was always busy trying to recreate the world inside a shoe box. And I just hated math. No wonder my sub-par sub-miniatures were never proportioned right. My clothespin dolls would be obese if they could actually eat my table sized pies. I grew frustrated at my inability to accurately clone and shrink the world, but that didn't stop me from not doing my math homework.

I lost interest in clay for a few years, but eventually I learned that those sub-par sub-miniatures could be fashioned into jewelry. I was hooked by practicality. And so, making polymer clay jewelry became my hobby.

It was really only something I did for my friends' birthdays. I would make them earrings or cellphone charms every year. They always told me to sell them, but I never thought I could until I started selling them at my high school's art show. Thanks to all the encouragement from friends and teachers and mentors, I'm here. Wherever this is. Wherever this goes.

Welcome to my shop! I make polymer clay earrings inspired by the little things I love in life. I like to challenge myself by using very little or no acrylic paint on my miniatures.

The name of this shop comes from my Chinese name, pronounced "nan." The character for used in my name translated to a rare and very precious type of hard wood found in China that was used to construct emperors' palaces. Because of its high demand, entire woods of nan trees are very rare.
(Note: This shop is not affiliated with the actress Nan Woods.)
