Shop policies

Welcome to naokosstoop Etsy Store!

Please read the store policy before you place the order. If you have any questions, please contact me.

All my products are printed in my artist loft studio in Brooklyn NY. I hand-finish everything with love and care.
Returns and exchanges
I did my best so that you will be happy with your handmade products and you will enjoy them, but in the unlikely event that you want to return them, just post them in the mail within two weeks and I'll give you a full refund, minus the shipping costs. No questions asked and no hard feelings :)
*(Please note that the items should reach me in the same condition I sent them to you.)

Additional Policies and FAQs
You are very welcome to contact me for any bulk, wholesale and I'm very happy to work with you on custom and commissioned projects.
I accept only Paypal at the moment. But please drop me a line if you have some other payment method in mind.

If I don't receive your payment via Paypal within 7days of placing your order, I will cancel the order and it will be removed from both of our Etsy records.
I will dispatch all orders within 1-4 business days after I receive payment, and I'll happily send your items anywhere that a postman can reach. I use regular First Class mail for all orders.

For domestic mail in the United States, your items should arrive in a week or so, but you know how postal services are sometimes. So please drop me a line if your order seems to be delayed, I will give the shipping details. I send all package from a US Post Office and keep the receipts.

For international mail, I use First Class International Mail, unless you need a tracking number. First Class Mail does not track the package outside of the United States. If you would like a tracking number, please send a note before you purchase the item. I will arrange it for you.

I send a print with an extra backing board and in a plastic sleeve. I use bend-proof card board mailer envelope and write "Do Not Bend" on both sides. This should protect prints flat.

In any case, we can only start a claim for lost items after 2 weeks for US addresses and after 4 weeks for the rest of the world. I can not cover missing mails after I send the package from a post office.

Finally, there shouldn't really be any customs charges, but if they happen to pop up, you will be responsible for them.

If the shipping addresses on your Etsy order and paypal transaction are different, I will send you email to make sure which one to send. I will wait to post the package until I hear back from you. If you don't reply me within a week, I will send the package to the address on Etsy order. Please drop me a note if you want your order to be delivered to somewhere else.

If you are ordering prints for a loved one, I can include a little note card with your words. Please mention about it.

Thank you!

Technical specifications

All my prints are high resolution archival quality. I print everything with an Epson professional inkjet printer and the quality it produces is impressive. It uses a system of 8 different archival pigment inks which are vibrant, natural, velvety or satin glossy if needed, but above all they are very very persistent. They are true, acid free pigments -no cheap dyes- that will last for 100 years easily or to say bluntly, as long as you care for them to do so.
I only use original Epson cartridges.
I also use original archival premium matte paper for my art prints.
My artwork files are at 400 to 600 DPI (that's: Dots Per Inch).
All my prints are always printed at the maximum quality settings that my printer can handle :)

An important note on Colour

Please keep in mind that the previews of my art that you see in my shop will probably appear slightly different in colour according to your monitor and how it is set-up. And they are certainly much livelier on print.

Thank you for looking.
