If you’re considering purchasing one of my dolls you may need some of the information below. But if you have any further questions I’m happy to help. And you can contact me through Conversations here -

Accepted payment methods

Paypal Mastercard Visa American Express Discover Apple Pay Klarna Giftcard
Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
If one of my dolls has arrived damaged I will give a full refund upon receiving the returned item. But I am unable to offer a refund on the cost of postage, or provide payment for any items to be returned to me. These costs must be covered by the purchaser.

I try to photograph all things as fully as possible, and more pictures are available upon request or on my Flickr or Facebook page if you would like to see something in more detail. And you can find a lot of detail on how I make and dress my dolls, as well as information on the people that have inspired them on my Blog.

I try to include information in each dolls listing of the inspiration, clothing, history and research behind each in as much detail as I can. But more detail is given on my Blog if you’re interested in reading more.

If you are not happy with your purchase I will be happy to consider a refund in most circumstances, and am happy to offer an exchange on any work, but must ask that buyers take responsibility for the return shipping, and for the shipping costs to send another doll in exchange.

My preferred method of payment is through PayPal or direct card payment, but I'm happy to accept Money Orders in most circumstances. If you would like to pay for your purchase by MO I’d be grateful if you could contact me either before or at the time of purchase so that I can ensure that you’re happy with my policies concerning these.

Due to the charges made by my bank to process Money Orders, an extra charge of $10 will be charged for making payment this way. This is what my bank charges me and no more, so please make out your order for $10 more than your doll plus shipping. I hope you understand my reasons for this charge as I'm unable to receive payments by Money Order unless this charge applies. There is no charge if payment is made by UK Postal Order as I incur no charges to process these.

If no payment is received within 7 days of the order being placed (unless payment is by MO) I will cancel the transaction unless you can drop me a note to explain the delay and we can come to some sort of agreement.

If you are having any issues with PayPal, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will attempt to assist you in any way that I can.

I'm happy to arrange payment by instalment in most circumstances, so please contact me before purchase if you’re interested in making payments in this way.
Depending on how many instalments you would like to make I will reserve or deactivate the listing so that your purchase remains secure. And an electronic PDF receipt will be issued for each payment so that both of us have a full record of all transactions. All timescales and the number of payments need to be agreed, and I’ll make sure you have my full contact details to make sure you can get in touch in a way that’s easiest to you.

I always try to post out all orders by first class mail, UK Royal Mail service (including international Air Mail) within 48hrs, and get proof of postage for each parcel for my records.
If it's getting close to the holidays please get in touch so I can find out if I can get the item your interested in to you in time

Payments made via PayPal allow me to ship orders as soon as possible. And payments made via Money Order will be held until payment has been received and banked before the order is sent.

I’m happy to upgrade this to priority postage / courier service on request, with a revised postage price agreed, if you would prefer to have a tracking number. And purchase of more than one of my larger sized dolls will be automatically upgraded to priority shipping where possible with no extra charge.

Please note that items shipped outside of the UK may take some time to arrive, so please allow the usual time from the UK for your area / country.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to take responsibility for missing packages, and will be unable to track them unless priority or courier services have been requested. I will, of course, do anything I can to help find the parcel if this does occur.

My dolls are unique, one-of-a-kind creations, and can’t be replaced / remade if they are lost or damaged in transit. Where possible I will do my best to repair any damages, and the purchaser will be responsible for the cost of transit involved.

All my dolls are much stronger than they look, and are packaged very carefully to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. I check each doll thoroughly before it leaves me, and carefully package each in sturdy gift boxes filled with tissue paper with any loose or dangly bits tied in place with ribbon so that the doll is well protected inside. Each package gets decorated with old book pages from broken and damaged discarded found books, string, lace, and a handmade gift / name tag. Ready to give as a gift, or just because it’s always nice to get things that are wrapped nicely. This is then wrapped in bubble wrap where needed, and paper, with a copy of the receipt and a business card with my full contact details. I don’t put the receipts inside the gift box with the doll so that everything will arrive with you ready to give to a loved one.

All postage is priced according to the size and weight of the artwork being sent. And I have tried to list the postage costs as accurately as possible. The price of postage in the UK changes rapidly, so any big blunders I've made in the price of postage will be refunded. I do try to keep my postage costs as accurate as possible, and update prices regularly in line with changes.

I ship out on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. And always try to leave 24hrs between payment received and posting in case you change your mind.

Due to the Winter Holidays, orders made during Nov / Dec may take longer than usual to get to you. So if you wish to receive your order before Christmas please allow plenty of time for the parcel to reach you.
The UK Postal Service states the last date to ensure parcels reach USA / Canada / Austrailia as 5th December. So I'm afraid that after this date I am unable to ensure that any of my dolls you have purchased as a gift will reach you in time.

UK Bank Holidays may also affect my ability to send orders out within 48hrs, and every effort is made to get all parcels shipped as soon as possible after these days.

Additional policies and FAQs
Every doll is handmade, and made with the greatest care. Everything is clearly labelled with my name, my website addresses and contact details, included on the doll itself where possible when it will not show when displayed, or included on the accompanying documents.

None of my dolls are suitable for children. My art dolls have small pieces, and sometimes sharp edges. They are not meant to be play-things, but many move and can be positioned or may have removable items of clothing. This information is included in each dolls description, and where possible shown in the photographs for the piece.

Custom Orders:
I am happy to accept custom orders, but am unable to produce an exact replica of previous work. My dolls are all handmade using no moulds or pre-bought pieces. However, I am often able to make very similar pieces which remain distinctly individual, and will be more than happy to do so if a particular doll you would like has already been sold.
All custom orders will need to be paid for in advance, with a total refund given if you are not happy with the result. Pieces can take up to two months to complete (for larger sizes), and I will send photographs of the finished piece, as well as work in progress if you would like, before posting to make sure that your happy with the results, or to make any small changes that you would prefer.

If you have any questions about any of the above or about my work please contact me through Conversations here -
Or at natashasheron [!at]

All my work is unique and authentic, and is always supplied with signed dated documents. I keep full records of each doll I make, what inspired me, and when and how it was created. All of my dolls are individually handmade, and will not be re-created. So every doll has their own one-of-a-kind personality.
I retain the copyright for all of my work, and this does not transfer to the purchaser. I may use images of my artwork for future projects of promotional work, but permission for use by others must be sought and granted.

Thank you for taking an interest.
