The Story and Mission of Natura Emporium

Hello I'm Dr Nichola, former synthetic Chemistry research fellow and Mother of 2 wonderful daughters, one of whom was born with multiple allergies and eczema. When I realised that in 25+ years since I'd had eczema the treatments proposed by the GP hadn't changed, I knew I had to do something about it. So with my Chemistry hat on (I don't have a hat really, but a lab coat!) I went about researching how to make salves and creams that would help her skin. Soon I was making so much for friends and family that I decided to sell open up my own shop.
So over the next 8 years I developed, tested and created a range of natural skincare products because the positive changes they made to our family, I wanted to pass onto others. It didn't just stop with eczema cream though. You see going grocery shopping when you have allergies to cater for means you spend A LOT of time reading labels and thanks to my Chemistry head I was looking at all the nasty and harmful chemicals that end up in everyday products. The sheer quantity was truly shocking and I've been on a mission to replace synthetic wellness products with a 100% natural and vegan alternative that works just as well, if not better.
Now I'm not a virgin to natural remedies I spent my childhood going to herbalists for natural alternatives to common ailments and my dream has been to recreate that apothecary feeling, which is how Natura Emporium came about.

Bonjour, je suis Dr Nichola, ancien chercheur en chimie synthétique et mère de 2 filles merveilleuses, dont l'une est née avec de multiples allergies et l'eczéma. Quand j'ai réalisé qu'en plus de 25 ans depuis que j'avais eu de l'eczéma, les traitements proposés par le médecin généraliste n'avaient pas changé, j'ai su que je devais faire quelque chose. Donc, avec mon chapeau de chimie (je n'ai pas vraiment de chapeau, mais une blouse de laboratoire!), J'ai cherché comment faire des pommades et des crèmes qui aideraient sa peau. Bientôt, je gagnais tellement pour mes amis et ma famille que j'ai décidé de le vendre et ouvert ma propre boutique.
Ainsi, au cours des 8 années suivantes, j'ai développé, testé et créé une gamme de produits de soins naturels car les changements positifs qu'ils ont apportés à notre famille, je voulais les transmettre aux autres. Cela ne s'est pas seulement arrêté avec la crème contre l'eczéma. Vous voyez que faire des courses lorsque vous avez des allergies signifie que vous passez BEAUCOUP de temps à lire les étiquettes et grâce à ma tête de chimie, je regardais tous les produits chimiques désagréables et nocifs qui se retrouvent dans les produits de tous les jours. La quantité était vraiment choquante et j'ai eu pour mission de remplacer les produits de bien-être synthétiques par une alternative 100% naturelle et végétalienne qui fonctionne aussi bien, sinon mieux.
Maintenant, je ne suis pas vierge des remèdes naturels, j'ai passé mon enfance à aller chez des herboristes pour des alternatives naturelles et mon rêve a été de recréer ce sentiment d'apothicaire, c'est ainsi que Natura Emporium est né.

EN: Hand cream, lotions, soaps and perfume can leave a residue on a spiral ring snuggie, therefore regularly washing with a pH neutral soap will minimise any discolouration. Our Natura Clean jewellery solution is gentle enough to keep your jewellery and accessories bright and clean.
FR: La crème pour les mains, les lotions, les savons et les parfums peuvent laisser un résidu sur un snuggie. I haven't received my order.
First of all don't panic.
Contact me immediately with your order number.
If there is a tracking number I will contact the postal service for an update. Sometimes the online systems are not up to date and a quick phone call can often work.
If there is no tracking number, don't worry. I am more than happy to send out a replacement order when sufficient time has passed (15 days after last estimated dispatch date).
A replacement however will only be sent to the same address given on the Etsy order. As you can understand I am not responsible for an incorrect address given at check out.
