Whatever's good for your soul...Do that.
Chelsea Mae is a sculptor of textural, organic forms. Working in ceramics was the obvious choice, raised as a nature lover playing on the clay shores of Arizona’s lakes.
She pays homage to natures intricacies, sculpting earth and minerals, often with the addition of materials varying from beach sand to fabric, then transforming them by fire.
She found her passion for sculpture while apprenticing in large scale bronze sculpture installations with Terry Thornsley of Laguna Beach. Entrenched in the local art scene she has curated mixed-media shows, and exhibited Ceramic Sculptures in galleries including Ethos Contemporary Art, Newport Beach, the Victor F. Keen in Las Vegas, and in Four Eyes Art Collective Exhibitions in Los Angeles and Newport Beach.
The goal of her current work is to “capture the intricate flow, texture, and energies of nature filtered through human hands.” Her collectors include businesses, museum gardens, and private residences internationally.
Each piece takes weeks to months to produce from carving, drying, firing, glazing, and firing again. Handmade one at a time, like things used to be.

Custom and personalized orders
I am now taking custom orders, for very patient people. Lead time is generally 4 to 8 weeks, longer for larger orders.
**If you need something soon please choose from the listings, all are ready to ship.
A brand new custom design, will incur a 30% design fee.
For all commissioned projects, a 50% non-refundable installment payment is required to start the project, the remaining 50% plus shipping will be due upon completion.
Contact me to discuss large installation and bulk orders. Because of the handmade nature of my items, there is no savings for me when making multiples, I still hand build them, one at a time. However, I do give a price break on orders over 10 items.
I LOVE big art installations, just send me your proposals.
Shipping
I'm a tree hugger. I try to reuse boxes and shipping material when possible.
My hard work is packed with the greatest of care, but every once in a while they're not handled nicely.
If a piece arrives broken please save the box with all the packaging and send me pictures of everything for the insurance. I may be able to make you another or choose to refund.
