About Naturekissd Hair & Skin

Naturekissd was born out of my desire to soothe, moisturise and heal my family's sensitive skin - naturally.

My youngest daughter Millie had 'cradle cap' from birth, a condition that is common in babies and usually kept under control by gently wiping it away with olive oil. In Millie's case, however, it got gradually worse, eventually developing into seborrheic dermatitis.

I hunted around for years to find a solution. Medicated products prescribed by the doctor were completely ineffective - they didn't seem to penetrate her scalp sufficiently enough to soothe it, and they did nothing for her thick afro hair. If truth be told, those thick, gloopy, heavily medicated products ruined it.

In the meantime, my eldest daughter Abigail began showing signs of sensitive skin too, which we eventually realised was down to ingredients in soaps and shower gels. Not surprisingly, I was determined more than ever to find a natural solution for everyone.

Thankfully, this led me down the path of natural skincare, until I eventually retrained to gain qualifications in herbalism, aromatherapy and finally, organic skincare formulation.

My favourite botanicals are Calendula, Chamomile and Sea Buckthorn as they were instrumental in healing both Abigail and Amelia's skin. You'll see these humble yet powerful plant extracts - among many others - incorporated into many of my products.

Handcrafted skincare is the perfect solution for creating truly customised products, and nature has an abundance of pure goodness that we can use to soothe, moisturise and even pamper our skin.

But don't mistake handcrafted for DIY. I have taken professionally accredited courses to become a proficient skincare formulator, which means I research and create all my formulations from scratch. I also work closely with a Chartered Cosmetic Chemist, which as required by UK Law means that all my products have been independently assessed and issued with Product Cosmetic Safety Reports.

You can also have peace of mind that I have a strict no testing on animals policy. None of my ingredients have been tested on animals.

Naturekissd is about being conscious of the ingredients I use in my products so that you get the very best your skin deserves. It is my pleasure to bring these to you in a way that delivers real benefits to your hair and skin, while being kind to our glorious planet too.

With very best wishes,
Mary xoxo

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders

I love creating custom orders.

Please simply contact me with your request and I will advise whether I can help.

Bespoke items can take 3-8 weeks to process, depending on the complexity of the formulation, and how long it takes for your product to be independently assessed and/or tested.

I will always advise you before you place your order, so that you are fully aware of the situation.

Cosmetic Safety

My products have been independently assessed by a Cosmetic Chemist and Safety Assessor, as required by UK Law. This is your assurance that my cosmetics are safe to use, and apply to the most up-to-date law governing cosmetic formulations.
