I am a little bit of a beach-lover and forest dweller. I am inspired by nature and like to incorporate it into my art utilizing pine cones, beach finds, vintage nautical charts and wood scraps.

My sister, Shellieartist, has some amazing "gathering girl" pieces that are some of my favorites of her creations. Every time I go on the hunt for Hemlock pine cones I feel like I am one of those "gathering girls". These pine cone earrings are some of my most popular items!

I think the the metalworking jewelry has become my favorite to make. I remember when I was younger, my sisters and I found a bunch for metal brooches in my dads workshop. I couldn't believe that he had made them. Every time I make a something, I tend to think of him!

My inspiration come from nature. John Muir says it best...."When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world." I love the outdoors and just thinking about how it is all put together just blows my mind. Nature is truly amazing.
