If we were sitting on my porch right now, I would offer you a cup of tea and a cookie or two ... or three (I like cookies). We would talk for hours and get to know each other. We would be like old storytellers and share our life-legends. I think we would laugh alot and there might be tears but I know we would be enriched by the process. I think we can still do this ... even with you where you are and me where I am. Get a cup of tea and a cookie. I will tell you about myself and share of my work with you.

I see myself as a "wild woman". Wild in the sense that there is a true wild essence in all of us that pushes us to be our authentic selves. To do what we came here to do and in this culture it surely takes a bit of wildness to accomplish that. I see my "wild woman" essence as an old she bear that has been singing through my bones for quite some time now and fleshing out a life suited only to me. Of open possibilities and just as open uncertainities. Never knowing just what is going to happen next. A life of quiet & solitude in a wooded glen... of dear children and grandchildren to love and watch unfold... of purposeful work that I can't even think of not doing... of artist friends at early Wednesday morning breakfasts... good books read late at night... and many dear friends. A very, very good life for me.
