Announcement   Happy New Year 2016 to all of our loyal customers. We have certainly enjoyed designing and fabricating all of our NeedleLite brand products for you over the past 10 years.

My daughter Stephanie has been very creative with her NeedleLite Lighted Knitting Needles over the past year. Go see what she had been cooking up over at North Shore Wools etsy.com/shops/northshorewools

Her stuff is fun to wear and very warm -- almost makes you wish the cold weather lasted longer so you could wear it throughout more of the year.

I used it for my spring concert. The students and parents loved it! It is not very bright, but still glows bright enough for low light settings.

About

NeedleLite and how it all began

We are 3 friends - a mechanical engineer (Bill), an electrical engineer (Mike) and a chiropractor (Roger) whose friends and family love to knit and crochet.

Faced with the challenge of how to help them work their craft in low-light conditions, we developed lighted knitting needles, lighted crochet hooks, lighted emobroidery hoops and lighted drop spindles.

Roger is a musician who loves to come up with interesting solutions to music problems. As a result, we developed lighted conductor batons.

All of the products we sell were designed and manufactured by us in Ripon, WI.

You can read a review of our lighted crochet hooks in the May 2013 issus of Crochet Savvy magazine (see pages 64 and 65 in the link listed on this page).

You can read also read about our lighted knitting needles and crochet hooks in the other link to the May 2013 issue of MakeZine.

We hope you will enjoy using our products as much as we have enjoyed designing and making them!
