Fantastic seller. Very helpful. Nicole worked with me to address my needs and create something beautiful and unique just for me! The dress is extremely well constructed, fits great and looks awesome. :)

Beautiful dress! Fits great except it was a little short. I got lots of compliments when I wore it to church on Sunday for Pentecost.

Finding Self-Expression through Fashion

When I was a young teenager, I felt widely misrepresented by the mass-produced fashion industry that surrounds us today. As a creative, introverted person it was difficult to find non-verbal ways to express myself to others in a way that embodied who I was. I was finding that many women's clothing lacked the quality and functionality I needed to meet my needs while also letting me feel comfortable and inspired. That's when I took things into my own hands. I spent years working on my craft and honing my skill.

I first opened an Etsy shop in 2012 under the name Needle Slave Designs, casually selling my creations and taking on custom orders. I closed shop for a year or two following a dramatic shift in my life, but I reopened my doors August 2015 and renamed my brand Skellum Threads. I am now fiercely working to provide unique alternative clothing to all my customers and will be expanding to designing a new line here in 2016. Stay Tuned!

Custom and personalized orders

*Do you have an idea for a custom order?

Contact me and I will promptly get back to you with the availability of a custom order for the item.

Sizing details

*How do I measure myself for a custom order or to compare measurements for a ready to ship item?
For information on how to measure yourself, please visit this page or contact me directly:

*Note: Small/Med/Lrg sizes on listings are only approximate sizes - please view listing details for exact measurements of the item. If the item shows a range of measurements, for example a 32''-36'' waist, that means the item stretches. The 32'' inches would be the unstretched measurement, and the 36'' inches would be max stretched measurement.

If you need any further help with sizing, please contact me.
