Good directions & tips. A quick project

I’m new-ish to knitting- only 2 years experience off and on mostly for hats/scarves/baby blankets. This was a quick knit. Only took me about 4 hours and that’s including the time it took dealing with double strands of worsted weight on my needles instead of single strand of chunky weight. I like that it’s versatile for different yarns/needles since the length is adjustable based on how long you want it. Also, def listen to her advice on making it shorter than you think you need it...I did that and it’s STILL too long after stretching out from a full day’s wear lol. I did the button hole version of the pattern but I think if I made another I’d go the elastic route. I will probably sew on an extra button to the one I already made. I wore it today for the first time and got compliments. :)
