Always a Collector, Not a Hoarder
I have always been a collector. As a kid I would save all sorts of items: baseball cards, sports pennants, marbles, photos, bits of plastic and metal, bits of fabric, sea shells. I saved them in containers, boxes mostly, cardboard shoe boxes and then as I travelled I would find ceramic, glass or carved wooden types, mostly for the beauty of the design.
About ten years ago I decided to decorate my accumulated collection of wooden boxes as an inexpensive, but unique gift item for family events, and so neeko box was born. I have continued this exploration into decorated objects with re purposed furniture as well, giving something old a new beginning. My search for varied materials to use is ever changing and I hope you enjoy the end result as much as I enjoy the process.
