Tons of people told me how much they liked the design! Nel put the invites and RSVP cards in my wedding colors, and they looked absolutely fantastic!

My wedding invitations were beyond beautiful. I have received so many compliments on them, and they match my vintage Paris themed wedding perfectly. Nel was great to work with and shipping was very fast! I would recommend this shop to numerous people.

In a nutshell

My name is Janelle, owner of Nellia Designs. Everyone calls me Nell as you probably have already found out.

I never meant to get into making invitations. I never even considered it. But of course that changed when I, myself got married and designed my own invitations. The response from guests was amazing and things took off. I slowly started getting requests, and after a few months I opened an Etsy shop. I've been happily designing stationery ever since.

I've been lucky enough to be able to quit my job, and work full time from home on invitations.

I have a degree in Graphic Arts and Internet Specialist courses. I work with Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Illustrator.

Welcome! My name is Nell and I specialize in creating one of a kind wedding designs. I can create unique personal designs tailored for your wedding including, monograms, invitations, table numbers, menus, programs, favor tags and more!

I stand by every design. If there's something you don't like, I'm more than willing to revise it until it's perfect.

Payment
I accept Paypal. If I don't receive payment within 5 days, I'll assume you've changed your mind and re-list the item or cancel your order.

I do require payment before I start work on any design. This is to prevent those few bad apples from getting the design printed or copied elsewhere.
Shipping
For items such as invitations and programs that I print and send, shipping is via Canada Post. Xpress shipping is available for rush orders, but there is a higher charge for this. Nellia Designs is not responsible for any additional customs fees from importing into other countries.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for whatever reason, after multiple attempts at revising your design purchase, you still are not happy, I will offer a refund at my discretion. (designs only, physical merchandise ie invitations will be at my discretion)
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Design fees

Significant re-designs of an invite, or a fully custom one, may require a design
fee. This also may apply to invitations made from supplied artwork. Design fees
range from $75 - $100 depending on level of work involved, and/or may require an
order deposit. Custom design fees do not apply to changing fonts, colors, or wording; those are expected and free.

Samples of most designs may be purchased with no obligation to buy anything further. If you would like to place an order, a minimum of $100 deposit is required at the time of the order placement. Some invitations may require a larger deposit. This deposit secures your place in my calendar, and will allow supplies to be ordered and your design work to commence. Deposits are non-refundable.

You will be required to approve the order before printing. Please check carefully for spelling errors, type size, and layout. Proofs are usually sent in JPG format, and should be viewed at 100%. Proofs are not intended to portray exact ink colors, paper or finished quality of product. Please proof your item(s) carefully. Once it is approved, you agree that you have edited and made appropriate changes to your design(s), verified your information, and authorize printing. *We cannot redo any order free of charge after a proof is approved.

Completion times will vary according to which type of invitation is ordered.

Some designs require supplies which cannot be rush ordered. We appreciate at least 6 weeks between the placement of the order and the delivery date. This time allows for ordering all supplies, proofing, printing and crafting, and shipping to you.

In an effort to make sure that papers are consistent in texture and color, Nellia Designs orders all supplies specific to each order. We do not carry a full line of papers at all times. Occasionally we may experience backorders of supplies. If this occurs, you will be notified immediately and alternative options will be provided. We try to verify the availability of all supplies before each order is placed to limit the
chance of this happening.

All wording must be provided at least 4 weeks before shipment date. Delays in providing the wording may result in a rush fee. Proofs must be approved in a timely manner, at preferably 2 weeks before shipment date. Delays in approving proofs may result in a rush fee if it puts the process significantly behind schedule. Please try to approve proofs within 48 hours of receiving them.

If you have anything in mind, I'm more than willing to design it for you.

For orders that I print myself I require 6 weeks notice, unless otherwise stated. If you need it sooner, a rush fee will be applied. Rush orders are limited to supplies on hand, custom envelopes and papers cannot be ordered with rush orders. Samples are generic and sent within 5-10 days of receipt of payment. Custom samples will take 2 weeks to ship out. Samples are sent letterpost and therefore have no tracking and should arrive within 2-3 weeks. Nellia Designs is not responsible for lost or late mail. Please contact me directly before assuming your sample isn't going to arrive. Please allow the appropriate 2-3 weeks for your sample to arrive. NOTHING can be done to recoup the sample until the 2-3 weeks is past.

For invites, there is a minimum order requirement of 50.

I am extremely busy doing invitation orders so I do apologize if email responses are delayed. I try my hardest to accommodate everyone who places an order.

I ask that once proofs are sent, you please also respond in a timely matter. Before printing, I need your approval. The longer you take to give me the go ahead, the longer it takes for me to complete the order for you. The 4-6 week timeline is the approximate time it takes to ship you your order once you've approved it. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
