nemeton's Shop Announcement

Unusual, original beaded jewellery, kits and patterns from a bead artist based in the UK. I'm back from my holidays, give me a few days to deal with the mountain of laundry and tame the jungle that has replaced my garden and then I'll be listing some new jewellery and some more new patterns too.

I have gone back to selling instant downloads of all my beading tutorials. This means delivery will be speedier, but if you're in an EU country I'm afraid you'll now have to pay VAT at whatever your country's rate is. Etsy automatically includes this in the prices you see displayed. (I don't get the extra money - Etsy collects it and then sends it on to the appropriate tax authorities.)

I accept credit and debit cards in addition to Paypal. I also accept Etsy Gift Cards. And chocolate. And sometimes trades. No harm in asking - the worst I'll do is say 'no' and I promise I'll do it politely.

Yes, it's true I've written a beading book, it's called 'Learn to make Bead Jewellery' and it's an introduction to stringing and wirework for the adventurous beginner - it won't be out until December but I hope it'll be worth the wait! Keep an eye on my social media pages to find out more, or follow the tag #lynnsbeadybook on Twitter for the occasional sneak peek.

For my latest updates, news and special offers, follow me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/lynn.davy.beadwork, on Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/hexagonad, and on Twitter: @lynn_davy . I have a sporadically updated blog at www.lynndavybeadwork.co.uk where I post the occasional ramble about what I've been up to.

I am proud to be a member of the Dorset Etsy Team. It's amazing how many talented and creative Etsians are living and working in this lovely English county. Our team tag for searching is 'dorsetteam' and you'll find our Team Page - which I am helping to curate - at www.etsy.com/uk/pages/dorsetteam . Or follow #dorsetteam on Twitter to keep up with the latest news from our members.

I am also a member of CPteam - a diverse team of UK sellers from the Craft Pimp Forum: http://www.craftpimp.co.uk. We make jewellery, cards, ceramics, beads, bags and more... search for 'cpteam' to see more of our work, and check out our blog at http://www.craftpimp.blogspot.co.uk/

nemeton's Shop Policies

Welcome

Welcome to my little beady corner of the internet! Everything you see here is designed, made and photographed by me, so you can be certain that each piece is unique and has been created with thought, care and skill.

I hope you'll enjoy shopping here. If you have queries or requests, please don't hesitate to start a conversation. I'm always happy to talk to people about beads!

Payment

I accept payment by Paypal or Direct Checkout (credit or debit card) for all orders.
If funds are not received in my account within three days of placing the order, I reserve the right to cancel the sale and relist the item/s.

See the 'Refund Policy' section for details of cancellation and refunds.

Shipping

I will do my best to ship your order within three working days of receipt of payment and will contact you if there is going to be a delay. Please ensure you have checked my shop announcement in case I am on vacation or otherwise away from my computer for any length of time. This applies to patterns too - they will be delivered by email until we have clarification on the new EU VAT rules... see my shop announcement for more details, I won't bore you with it all again here.

Combined shipping: I offer free combined shipping. If you order more than one item you will still pay only one shipping charge. Even if you order LOTS of items. Yes, really. No extra charge for additional items. You just pay the single charge on your most expensive item. At most it'll be £3.50 if you're in the UK, or £5 if you're anywhere else.

International customers: All international orders are despatched by airmail; please let me know if you require additional insurance or tracking (additional charges may apply). Please note that any customs duty or charges incurred by your package will be your responsibility. Airmail from the UK to the US normally takes 7-10 days to arrive, but during the holiday period it can be much slower, so make sure you order in plenty of time!

UK customers: UK orders are despatched by first class post; please advise if you require next day special delivery (additional charges may apply).

Refunds and Exchanges

All my items are made in the UK and shipped from the UK; all transactions are subject to UK law.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me by email, post or Etsy conversation within 14 days of receipt. Please return the item undamaged in its original packaging, within 14 days of notifying me you intend to do so. Once I've received the item, or proof that the item has been despatched, I'll arrange for a refund of the purchase price and your original postage costs. Alternatively, I will exchange the item for one of the same value, or alter the item to suit (additional charges will apply if this takes longer than fifteen minutes or requires additional materials). Please note that return postage costs are not refunded unless the item is faulty/damaged/not as described.

Additional Policies and FAQs

All my jewellery is made with love and care and as well as I can make it. Please treat it with respect and it should last you for years - handle it carefully and avoid tugging it sharply, be kind when opening and closing the clasps, store it flat and out of direct sunlight, keep it dry, avoid contact with perfumes and other cosmetics (they may damage the finish on certain beads), and remember that most of the beads I use are made of glass, so if they're dropped on a hard surface they may not survive intact!

My tutorials are available in English language only.
