SanghaKnits

Affordable Luxury -- Hand Knit from Natural Fibers

New York, United States

Announcement    Welcome to SanghaKnits! My shop is dedicated to providing stylish knit, crocheted, and Tunisian crocheted items from luxurious fibers. You'll find a variety of unique scarves, prayer/meditation shawls, and baby blankets, each of which was lovingly handcrafted in a smoke-free home.

The majority of my creations are crafted from high-quality natural fibers because working with them is a joy. For some projects, I use soft acrylic or acrylic-blend yarns, since they can be machine washed. I include the fiber type and washing instructions on each listing.

Since creating these pieces is labor-intensive and time-consuming, there may be a gap between listings. Please favorite my shop and check back frequently to find something special for yourself or for gift giving.

About my Shop Name...

"Sangha" is the word for "spiritual community" in Pali, the language spoken by the Buddha. I am a member of a meditation center and meditate daily. Knitting and crocheting are also like meditation to me. My wish is that each piece that I create will bring the recipient a little comfort, joy, and peace.

An herbal tea that is both delicious and nutritious is hard to find. Such a wonderful aromatic, taste bursting, feel good cup of tea. Thank you for sharing your recipe. The delightful tin it comes in is definitely a keeper, too. I'll be back for more.

Just wonderful. Herbal, refreshing scent; very clean. The texture is light and doesn't weigh down hair. One drop, rubbed between palms, is enough to keep stray, wriggly fly-aways in place and adds a lovely sheen. I also used it (one drop) to oil my hands; very nice and not greasy. Will buy again, although it'll take a long time to be used up.
