Thanks for making sure I was able to give my wife something special for Christmas. She loved it and wears it often. Very well made.

One-of-a-kind jewelry created from antique and vintage treasures

A couple of years ago, my mom and I had the crazy idea to open our own space at an antique mall. It was the perfect fit for us, really. We love to treasure-hunt, we love to decorate and create beautiful displays, and we love to re-purpose vintage things in a cottage style. We called ourselves the Cottage Queens and our fun little business was born. In addition to all the rusty, chippy, and sometimes sparkly things we collected to sell, we started collecting vintage jewelry, buttons, and trinkets that we knew we wanted to incorporate into jewelry creations some day. That day has finally come, and I've discovered a new passion...creating new statement pieces with a nod to the past. We scour estate sales, thrift stores, antique stores, and flea markets for treasures that are begging to be reborn and re-imagined as unique, stunning accessories. Each piece tells a story. Each piece respects the past in a very current way. Each piece is lovingly created by hand. Join us as we present to you The Crown Jewels, by the Cottage Queens.

Welcome to Cottage Queens! We are a mother-daughter team that specializes in taking old junk and giving it new life. "SpArKLy" is our favorite color! Followed closely by "Rusty" and "Chippy" and "Shabby"! We enjoy selling our vintage and re-purposed wares in a quaint shop ("The Gilded Thistle") in Oregon City, Oregon.

Courtney Goodwin is the daughter/designer of the jewelry designs you see here. Courtney just loves creating new statement jewelry from time-worn vintage elements. Taking old brooches and other treasures and figuring out how to make them new again is what keeps her awake at night...because with all of those creative juices flowing, and visions of SpArKLy things, who can sleep?

Courtney also loves to take YOUR grandma's jewelry, rescue it from languishing in a dusty jewelry box forever, and give it NEW life in a custom piece for you! Just contact us and let's start talking about it.

Additional policies and FAQs
YES! We accept custom orders. I love nothing more than to take vintage costume jewelry with sentimental value and re-imagine it into something that can be worn and treasured for many years to come. If you have vintage jewelry of your mother's or grandmother's, I can make it into something new and fabulous for you! If you have a dress you'd like to match, I can create a custom necklace in the color of your choice, just for you. If you have a wedding party and need one-of-a-kind jewelry gifts for your bridesmaids, I can do that too! Just send me a convo and we'll talk. :-)
