It's amazing to see the restorations of silver after it has been recovered and gone across my bench. These are early 18th century Boston silver spoons in 'as found' condition.

About

The Connection to Meaning

I grew up in an area rich in history in the South surrounded by tales of the past. It's unsurprising that I am passionate about objects that provide powerful connections to our history. Possibly my best experiences as a trader relate to returning lost family heirlooms to the rightful descendants.

As for many of us, it is the finding and not the having for me. When a customer says, 'this reminds me of something my grandmother wore every day', I feel I have done my job connecting someone powerfully to the meaning of their past. No matter where it is, never forget where you come from.
