We are still following our own safety guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and all of our friends and family. As well as, doing our part to protect the community around us. We are in this Together!
Our shop is located in North Carolina, USA and we closely follow the rules of our State and Local Mandates. We have added additional measures to protect our customers and employees. Masks are mandatory when we are within the same space and a safe distance of no less than 6-feet is maintained. We have also altered our work schedules so we may provide more distance. Our shop is cleaned and sanitized regularly.
SHIPPING
Due to the recent changes in the EU Tariffs and USPS Policies and Procedures, our projected shipping times will, most likely, be affected.
If you have been keeping up with the news, you know that the USPS has announced some significant changes, a couple of which will most certainly affect our shipping times and costs. Basically speaking, shipping costs for First Class, our primary method of shipping, will increase beginning on October 1, 2021, until December 26, 2021. The USPS has also announced that shipping times will be much slower. In light of these changes, we want to REALLY ENCOURAGE our customers to order early. We have also chosen to change to Priority Shipping. This will ensure that your product will be shipped on time AND you will have faster shipping and more accurate tracking updates.

Silly boys, power tools are for girls...
I grew up in the mountains of Virginia under the belief the a girl could do and be anything she wanted. Dolls were for sissies - I'm sure my brothers influenced this thought. Instead I preferred playing in creek beds, searching for critters, or exploring any creative endeavor I could find. This is still who I am today.
Slowly my art & interests have come forth into the building of this amazing shop. I prefer the woods, garage or workshop over just about anything else. Although the competition for this prime real estate can become quite interesting when you add a husband in the mix .. ( Luv ya Joe :)
Originally my "tinkering" was just a hobby. At the time I was a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator for NC, a completely volunteer and unpaid position. I began to sell my art to raise money and awareness for injured wildlife. Thus Twisted Metals was born.

Spoon Fish Care Instructions
All our wind chimes may be kept both indoors and out. Silver plate will naturally tarnish to a golden brown hue over time. While we find many prefer the tarnished version it is also possible to maintain a new polished look with ease. If you desire your chimes to remain polished and need no additional attention we have had great success with a light beeswax rubbing. ( Simply take warm beeswax & rub onto each fish then wipe until all visible signs are gone )
Our preferred method is super easy! You don't even need to take your chime down for cleaning. Simply scrub the fish with a dab of hand sanitizer & wipe clean with a towel once a year. Amount needed seems vary by location - busier cities do best with twice per year due to smog.
Dont wait for oppor-tuna-ty to knock, seize the day instead. Warning a boat load of crappie puns ahead. I would apologize but it was done on porpoise. The following is a test for site ranking. You see, I am just a small fish in a big pond. I must continuously test the waters to stay afloat.
You see I'm reel-ly just an artist adapting to a sails lady life. Feel free to read, be entertained & then ignore. If you have questions or need kelp be shore to let minnow. Just churning the waters of the internet.

I'm not waiting for someone to throw me a line, I will make my own oppor-tuna-ty. Who says you have to be a small fry. Why swim when you can soar?
