New Arcadia Metal & Works - Restoring beauty both inside & out.
What started as a silly picture of a project on social media has turned into this wild ride! I started working with metal after watching all those reality shows about cars and thought to myself "That looks like fun!". Not knowing where to start and starting on no budget, I started to practice welding on scrap and other junk I found lying around. When posting pictures of my welding skill progression, people would ask "Is that for sale?" meaning they weren't looking at my welds at all, but instead the "piece" I had made. I jokingly said yes, and that led me to my first sale.
As time progressed I acquired more (and better) tools, more skills, and decided I should get serious about this! New Arcadia Metal & Works is all about reusing "found junk" and other stuff people don't seem to have a use for. Since I started here on Etsy back in 2015, my family has saved over 3,000 lbs (1360kg) of useful material from landfills, and other polluted areas. 95% of all material is locally sourced and we pride ourselves on using 100% renewable materials.
