Announcement    After introducing our new 'Copper Match Extender’, we’ve made changes to the rolled wire clasp hook to allow the tool to be more useful as a wick dipper. The wick dipping process is used to eliminate smoke causing soot and also to prime the wick for later lighting's.

The original design of the clasp hook was for hanging the tool along the edge of a jar candle for lighting the match head and also to be used a wick dipper. We recently redesigned the clasp hook angle 45 degrees (as seen in images #4 and #5), so that now the hook is even more efficient for catching and lifting an extinguished wick that has been bent down in the wax pool to smother the flame.

Please note: although this hook mimics many wick dipper designs, our new copper clasp hook will now make lifting the wick even more effective; the long rounded tips of the ‘Copper Match Extender’ tool can also be used for dipping and retrieving a wick from the wax pool. We hope by modifying the clasp hook you’ll find that our ‘Copper Match Extender with Wick Dipper Hook’ combines two essential candle accessories into one handy tool!

F.Y.I. New Millennium Candle Company has been in business for over 20 years and maintains a company website as well as this ETSY site. Our business started out making custom candle designs but since then we have expanded into creating and engraving memorable monogrammed wedding candle sets, and casting unique items in lead free pewter and colored urethane resin. Please contact us if you have any questions about the unique items we've listed on this website.
