Newmoor Barn is a small farm nestled in the Tamar Valley on the borders of Devon and Cornwall in the UK. We use the Mohair fleece from our own herd of Angora goats to produce a wide range of high quality handmade arts and crafts. Other fibres we incorporate into our work are sourced from local farms so that we can ensure the animals who provide our fleece are treated with care and respect and all fleece is then hand produced ethically.

Betty is one of our Angora Goat Kids that produce our mohair. She lives with her family at Newmoor Barn including her brother Bernard & her Mum Areeba. Betty will continue to live happily with us with freedom to roam and browse as she wishes until she is an old lady. Our animals will never go to slaughter
Shop policies
All of our animals are treated with care and respect and we show our appreciation of their hard work by continuing to care for them even when they are too old to be financially viable. Our animals will NEVER been sent to slaughter, ensuring our products are truly vegetarian friendly.
At Newmoor Barn we provide our animals with a stimulating environment to allow them to express their natural behaviours.
