If an item arrives damaged, please let me know ASAP! I will do my best to replace it (jewelry items are one of a kind and I won't be able to replace it with an identical item).

Bath and body items are not returnable.

Keep in mind that these items are handmade, and may contain imperfections. An old legend says that you should make a mistake on every thing you create in order to let your soul back out... otherwise, it'd get trapped inside and you'd be left without a soul.

That being said, if you aren't happy with your purchase, please let me know and we can try to work something out.

Paypal is preferred, though I will also accept checks by mail.

Items will be shipped after payment clears.

The majority of my shipping is via USPS first class or priority mail. I hit the post office about once a week -- please let me know if you have a deadline for receiving your items.

My most recent move left me with a lot of cardboard boxes laying around -- so most shipping boxes are recycled. (Another Etsy seller called it "Frankensteined" and I love the name!)

If you'd prefer a brand new box, please leave me a note and I'll get you one at no extra charge.

Q: How long does it take to prepare an order?

A: That depends on what you've bought. Many of my jewelry items are already made and ready to go in the mail. Bath and body products are made when they are ordered -- please allow 5-7 business days for prep time.

Please keep in mind that with gas prices being what they are, I try to hit the post office only once per week. If you have a specific date that you need your purchase by, please let me know and I'll do my best to make sure you get it on time.

Q: How did you get your name?

A: NewroticGirl (pronounced like "neurotic") came into being after a very funny friend and I spent an evening brainstorming scent names. We started off with the seven deadly sins but ended up with a list of neuroses. I'm a girl and I'm neurotic, so the name kind of fits me anyway... even if I wasn't making scents named after mental problems.

Q: Essential oils or fragrance oils?

A: I use essential oils in my products. Fragrance oils are synthetic, and tend to make my allergies act up. I don't have that problem with the natural stuff!

Q: What's the shelf life on the bath and body stuff?

A: Most essential oils start to change their scent after six months or so... so I'd try to use them within the first six months. Some last longer -- I had a lotion roll under the seat of my car and found it a year later. The scent was still good (though some of the water had evaporated, leaving the lotion SUPER thick).

Q: Can you handle large orders?

A: Yes! I've done favors for several bridal showers in the past, and can even do custom labels. Send me a convo if you're looking for a large order and we can come up with something cool that won't bust your budget.
