I have been a potter since the mid 1990's, studying first at the NH Institute of Art In Manchester, NH, after which I studied independently, and with several local potters.

I enjoy making functional pottery, which is hand-made from high fired stoneware. Each piece is made with fine USA quality craftsmanship! Each cup, bowl, vase, etc. is individually formed. That means each piece is one of a kind.

My pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe, lead -free and non-toxic, so safe for your food.

I hope that you enjoy owning and using your new item as much as I have enjoyed creating it. I appreciate your business and welcome any comments or questions. Thank You!

Bruce

About

Completely Handmade Pottery made by Bruce, of NH Fine Stoneware

My pottery pieces are hand thrown or hand built by me (no poured forms here!). I use only glaze combinations of glazes mixed by me, by hand (not commercially purchased glazes). When you purchase a one-of-a-kind piece of pottery from my shop, rest assured that it is Completely hand made and crafted by me. All of my pottery is non toxic.

I had always wanted to try pottery when I was a kid, but didn't get much opportunity.  One day, my wife said she was going to take a pottery class.  "Can I join you?" was my response.  I like to jump into things with both feet, so after taking a single class at the NH Institute of Art, I dove in and bought a wheel (which we kept in our kitchen in our apartment at the time), and a kiln. I completed that semester of classes, took a few more, and had some private instruction. I have been doing pottery now for over 18 years.
Over the years, I have perfected my throwing and hand-building techniques and glazes.  The glazes were the bigger challenge (lots of chemistry).  I will always fit pottery into my life.  I hope you visit my studio or Etsy shop sometime soon.  Thanks,  Bruce

All of the pottery in my shop is handmade by me--from wheel throwing, or hand building, to glazing and firing. All of my pieces are made in my home studio in NH.
