Handcrafted artisan jewellery. Made by me, for you.
"I can make that!"
Well, it turns out I couldn't - isn't it always harder than it looks? But in the process of trying to work out how the artist I admired actually did what she did, I found out there were other things I *could* do, and I discovered that I love taking wire and stones and turning them into beautiful jewellery for men and women.
I adore working in sterling and copper (not coincidentally, these are nice, soft metals, which means I can work in thicker wire without breaking my wrists, or my pliers) but I also love the way you can take stainless steel and fashion it into masculine, sleek jewellery that lasts years.
I'm fascinated by the way changing the thickness of the wire or the metal you're working with can make a chainmaille weave look entirely different. I'm amazed that you can join tiny little rings of metal together and create a soft, flexible fabric that drapes around your wrist or neck and shines every time it catches the light.
I love garnets and amethysts. I've discovered stones I never knew existed before I started making jewellery - labradorite, spectrolite, prehnite, iolite. Amazing colours which contrast brilliantly against the pure metals I work with. I've discovered the talent of handmade glass artists, and the beautiful beads they can create.
Every day, every piece of jewellery I make is a joy for me. I'm thrilled that my work has gone to so many places around the world, places that I'm only ever going to see on a map, and I hope that those who buy my work enjoy wearing their new jewellery as much as I enjoyed making it.

Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that, unless otherwise stated in the product description, pendants in my shop do not come with a chain.
If you would like a chain with a particular pendant, please get in touch prior to purchase - If I have chain in stock, I will be happy to revise the listing.
Dyed and Treated Stone:
Many of the stones for sale online are treated in some way, to bring out the colour of the stone. Common examples of this are the use of dyes and heat to treat stones and emphasise their colour.
Where I know this has happened to the stones I use, I will disclose this in the product listing; however, not all suppliers are as diligent as one might like in passing on this information.
For this reason, you should assume that the stones in pieces you see for sale on this site may be treated to bring out the colour, even if this is not specifically mentioned in the listing.
If it is vital to you that the stones you use be absolutely natural, with no colour treatment, then please do get in touch to discuss before purchase.
Please note that my jewellery is not intended for use by children, as my work often contains small parts and some pieces may be delicate and need careful handling.
