Night Owl Paper Goods is a homegrown company run by two sisters who adore cute critters, silly puns and ample amounts of espresso. Jennifer is a true night owl designing products into the wee hours, while Megan runs the show. Our studio is located in Birmingham, Owlabama.
We offer a large selection of cards and gifts for all occasions, including greeting cards, journals and notebooks, enamel pins and keychains, custom holiday cards, wood wedding invitations and more. All of our paper goods are handcrafted in the US from eco-friendly, sustainably-harvested birch wood and 100% cotton made from reclaimed fibers of the textile industry. From our designs to the renewable resources used to create our products, nature is both an inspiration and an influence in our work. From colors to critters to patterns to textures, Mother Nature is always full of beautiful surprises.
Since Night Owl Paper Goods took flight in 2006, our small company has grown into a thriving family-run business, filled with passionate and ambitious go-getters who embrace each day as an opportunity to produce high-quality, hand-crafted goodies that make people smile. Our products are now stocked nearly 2,000 retail stores world-wide, but we keep our humble beginnings close to our hearts, and we are so very grateful to our customers for helping us get to where we are today.
With every order we pack and ship we're reminded just how much of a treat it is to own and run a small, creative business. Connecting people with our quirky greetings and whimsical goodies is what we adore and aim for with every new product. Jennifer is the founder and creative director at Night Owl Paper Goods. By day she's our production manager, printer, bookkeeper and photographer. By evening this true night owl gets back to work designing our line of modern yet folksy products.

Megan manages the day-to-day operations of the studio. She loves working one-on-one with customers to help them find exactly what they need and ensure that they're delighted with their order and their experience.

Production Assistant, Dad
Paul, aka "Mr T." around the studio, is responsible for binding all wood cover journals, jotters and notebooks. He rounds, QC's and assembles wood greeting cards, die-cuts custom letterpress and wood cards and operates the paper cutter.

Karen Tatham
Production Assistant, Mom
Karen has been joyfully inspecting and hand assembling letterpress and wood materials since 2004. She helps Mr T. reinspect his binding responsibilities and individually bags and pre-inventories all. She is also known as Mrs T. or Mom!

Web Programmer, Design Assistant, IT Manager
Josh is the mastermind behind our website and a web programmer extraordinaire. He handles our IT needs as well.
