The Prodder resting gently next to the wool it is going to transform-:)

Felt gems created in a studio in the heart of Dublin City. Handmade hats, scarves, wrist warmers and coats.

I started felting a few years ago and have never looked back- so many things you could do with wool. So easy to keep integrity to your work when wool does not cut corners and honestly reveals how you've done it and what you used to make it.

It never seize to inspire me. And as I live in the city, there are always folks and happenings that give me magic powers.

So when I photograph my work I use aspiring women around me to tell the story of my collections. It is not me in the photos and a friend Beta Bajgartova does my photos. All the hats, scarves and wrist warmers are made by me in my wonderful studio.

Since I started I have developed tools that enabe those who work in felt: niki&niki felting tool range. They are made by a talented tool maker who just like me believes that everything is possible, and he proves it every day in designing custom tools, hat blocks and felting boards.

I love wool, handmade felt, hat blocks, soap and how you can transform a handful of wool into a unique luxury adornment.

Feltmaking was a love affair I did not plan for. It started while I was resolving a lampshade design. Somebody showed me felting and I knew That Was It! Now I make wet felted hats, scarves & wrist warmers with dedication to strong design.

Shop policies

I make all my small editions from the heart of Dublin city in a studio that was a linen mill since 1800s. I work often with wool sourced by a small farming community that practices responsible breeding and works on preserving local breeds.
My collections always start as a story I want to tell and I tie them to a felt making technique that would embody my story best.

Each product is then discussed with honest people that simply tell me what works and what is just an art piece.

I produce small editions of my work but they always have variations that make them unique.

I am inspired by timeless unique women and my work is designed for them.
