All printed on 100% recycled, certified vegan, acid free, and made with renewable energy - even the plastic sleeve the cards come in is compostable. It gives the cards an awesome vintage feel and it's a total bonus that they're eco-friendly. Will definitely be ordering more. Awesome to do business with you. Thank you, again!

We are a small business run by a husband and wife team in Portland, Oregon.

We often use nature as an inspiration. Our translucent flowers radiate light, like the pedals of real flowers.

Paper Arts in the Great Northwest
Nikki Cross Applesauce is run by a husband and wife team in Portland, Oregon. Nikki works with origami paper, takes photos, and paints, Jake likes architecture and woodworking. We take pride in making our own original origami paper designs and printing our own paper. We strive for originality, eco-friendliness, and an outlet for all the wild things floating around in our brains. We collaborate all the time, so much that it is hard to even distinguish who first had an idea.
Why origami?
Paper-folding is meditative and instantly gratifying, encouraging endless revision. With an infinity of options, origami teaches us to think openly, and be fearless. All you have to lose is a little piece of paper.

Shop policies
I'm happy to make custom orders when I can, message me to discuss what you'd like and - colors, styles, custom printing, etc. Work on custom orders will not begin on order until payment is received. Once work is started on custom orders, your order cannot be cancelled.
I'm happy to include a gift message on any order and send directly to your gift recipient. Gift messages will be printed on a handmade card. We use only 100% recycled paper for our packaging.

Shipping
Orders are processed in 1- 3 business days of payment. Custom orders may take 3-5 business days to process. We usually ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Most items are mailed USPS first class 3-5 business days and have tracking (inside the U.S). If you buy two packs of paper, confetti or cards, we'll upgrade you to 2-3 day Priority mail (inside the U.S.) If you have purchased many items at once and we can package your items together, we will refund any excess shipping charges to your credit card or paypal. Faster shipping upgrades are available on most of our paper supplies. Keep in mind that it takes us 1-3 business days to make you order and get it to the post office. These are only guidelines, we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date.
FOR BUYERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.:
Tracking is not available on International First Class mail. Delays can happen, we appreciate your patience. Please be aware your country may charge additional customs duty and/or import taxes and are the buyer's responsibility. Shipping can take 7-10 business days or longer, depending on the country. Beware, sometimes packages can get held up in customs, and delivery can take as long as 4 weeks.
Wherever possible I use recycled materials for packaging and shipping. Shipping costs include box/envelope, packing materials, shipping rate, and may include tracking and insurance. Generally, I don't include printed invoices in any packages unless requested.

Can I order custom flower bouquets and/or bridal bouquets?
Our availability for making custom origami bouquets is based on our schedule and other workload at the time. Please send us a message to discuss custom bouquets.
Can I include a gift message with my package?
Yes! We are happy to include a gift message with any of our items. In the message box at checkout, include your gift message and we'll write it on one of our handmade cards. We also add confetti decoration inside packages sent as gifts at no extra charge.
