About

Charmed, chained and wired

I am mesmerized by colors, shapes and textures. My mission is to combine these elements into stunning, bold pieces of jewelry for the woman who want to be noticed. Making jewelry that combines the unusual and the unexpected is my passion: wood with jade, rhinestones with recycled glass, shells with smoky quartz. I love to use chains, charms and free form wire wrapping in my designs.

At heart, I am a fashionista. As a child, I spent my days gazing into a makeshift armoire, organizing my dresses and daydreaming of beautiful outfits. My Saturday shopping expeditions and visits to museums with my mother in downtown Philadelphia became a means of exploring the world of art and fashion.

I adore great design. I'm inspired by everything from an Armani dress to a Matisse painting to the humble paper clip.

After years of being a passionate crafter - sewing, knitting, painting and dying textiles - my jewelry design journey began one day in 2005 while visiting a local bead shop. I spotted some simple necklaces: silk cords strung with crystal beads. Taken by their easy elegance, I picked up a few supplies, starting stringing my own necklaces, and was soon swept up in a creative whirlwind that took me from metal smithing to wire wrapping to enameling.

With each day, as the sun rises over the New Mexico mountains, I continue to find inspiration and create new one-of-a-kind designs--for women like her who want to journey through life boldly and colorfully.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
• Handmade jewelry requires a little extra TLC. Keep each piece in it’s own bag, compartment, box or pouch especially when traveling.

• Silver - I use Argentium tarnish resistant silver. If it needs to be cleaned, use only a soft cloth slightly damp with water or WIndex. Oxidized silver may change color slightly as it ages which adds to it's beauty. Do not clean oxidized silver as this can remove the finish.

• Patina may change color slightly as it ages which adds to it's beauty. Do not clean patinaed pieces as this can remove the finish.

• Remove jewelry when bathing, cleaning, swimming or using beauty products. Chemicals can damage jewelry components especially organic beads like amber, coral, jade, pearls and turquoise.

• Clean jewelry by wiping with a soft dry cloth or a cloth slightly dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Do not soak jewelry in water or jewelry cleaner. Do not use an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. Do not use abrasives such as toothpaste to clean your jewelry.
