Great gift for my mother in law working on a life long goal that’s been kicking her butt a little lately. Great quality and beautiful picture.
"This is a great moment, when you see, however distant, the goal of your wandering..."
The travel bug bit me early in life, so I carry my passport and a camera with me wherever I go, never knowing when one of my adventurous pals might say "hey, let's fly to Morocco, or Florence, or wherever". When it happens, I'll be ready.
For many years I used a camera casually before getting serious. Two things altered that; one Spring morning, as I sat on my front porch, teacup in hand, looking up at the sunlight filtering through the newly unfurled, bright green leaves of a tree, I felt something at my core shift -- just like a gear might shift -- and time slowed. I blinked and saw that everything around me was wonderfully alive and filled with an energy that shimmered, even in inanimate things like doors and beautiful architecture and stone walls and graffiti. A trip to China was the other influence. I'd never seen so much intense red nor been in a place so architecturally (wonderfully) foreign.
Why do I sell my photographs? To me, each carefully finished photo feels like a rare gift of timing, beauty and craftsmanship -- and what could be better than sharing a treasured gift? When you display my work in your home or workplace, I hope you are inspired each day by the same pleasure and joy I experienced when I created it.
A little note about quality: there's nothing better than working with and purchasing really lovely, high quality items for your home. I use a creamy white, museum quality watercolor paper and archival inks for printing. The paper provides an added layer of texture to the image and the archival inks offer true, rich, long-lasting (think 100 years!) color.
May I brag? Philadelphia's top restaurant, Vetri shared a video clip of their private dining room on Instagram where you can get a quick peek at one of my Italian Fine Art Photographs hanging on their lovely walls: https://www.instagram.com/p/_kkH5xNoE5/?taken-by=marcvetri

“This is a great moment, when you see, however distant, the goal of your wandering. The thing which has been living in your imagination suddenly becomes part of the tangible world.
