I am an image maker, animator, lover of animals, and a teacher. My work often draws from science based imagery (microscopic forms, textbook diagrams, and maps, to name a few), focusing on fictional narratives influenced by visual memories rather than actual scientific phenomena.

I received my BFA from The University of Georgia in Painting in 1998 and my MFA in the Imaging and Digital Arts Program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2006. I was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Georgia, and currently reside in Baltimore.
